Although we book for 2 nights we still have to check out the next day and not allow to come in until 8 pm and check in again which is a real nuisance

Very nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff. I spent 3 nights there and slept very well. The room has a massage chair, a big bathroom and microwave. You can order breakfast that they will bring, it's not the best but it's good enough to start the day. Overall good experience that I recommend for people on a budget as it is a bit far from the center but easily accessible by train

Cheap with large rooms and big bathrooms. An interesting selection of room themes 😳

Check in was 8pm. Some translation issues but we should learn more Japanese. The lift. The door closes the moment one person steps inside and makes it almost impossible to get 2 or more into the lift. It was also strangely setup with an up lift and a down lift.

The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Just covering an old mattress with a cover does not make it comfortable. The hotel itself was neat and tidy with helpful staff despite some strange rules about checking out every day and not checking in till 20.00 hrs.That may be the language barrier but nothing excuses an old tired mattress.

They had complementary toiletries

Everything reeked of smoke. The whole place felt dirty although it wasn’t visibly it looked like a party place. You get locked into your room and have to call on the phone to get out, that seems like a hazard if there is a fire. I don’t understand the concept. If you leave you have to give your room key, that doesn’t feel very safe either. Overall one of the worst places I’ve stayed and I don’t have the highest standards either. Unless your planning on partying and smoking all night in the room don’t go here.
