unique hotel for the manga fans. there must be thousands of manga books here. the rooms had super soft padded floors and beds were comfortable and low. they had free drinks at reception which went down a treat for the kids especially after being out in the heat all day. staff are friendly.

no laundry in the hotel although the manager did offer us to use the , I assume, private facilities if we had a couple of items. the nearest coin operated laundry was about 1km away.

We stayed there as it’s reasonably close to Ghibli Park. The hotel was ok, beds were comfortable. They have a cool water bar which is nice.

The locks sometimes get a bit stiff and difficult to open

Room was large and comfortable. There were plenty of items to assist persons staying for an overnight as we did. It was quiet.

The decoration was a little tired, but that is a minor thing.

A lot of manga. Though they are all in Japanese, I wish I could have more time to browse through them, the drawings. I believe they are one of the Japanese culture.

The smell in the room. Apart from the smoking smell, the ventilation wasn't very good in our room, where there was some smell from the sewage pipe.
