Cheap for what you get, added security with lifts only accessible by using room key cards, convenient location near shops, restaurants, bars and a departmental store. Self-service check in and check out machines available to save time and drinks sold at the vending machine here seems to be cheaper than elsewhere.

Limited parking space on site (so get there early!), and limited food selection of onigiri and soup (Japanese style) and bread (western style) but onigiri uses Japanese rice so it’s a bonus! Especially loved unagi onigiri! Juice selections at breakfast were good too.

The rooms were very clean and the beds quite comfortable. Everything needed was either provided in the room or in the lobby. The breakfast was simple but tasty. There are several places to eat at close by and the two stations are really close.

I decided to not read the text about the rain-shower. It was a mistake and I scared myself. But that was mg fault. Read the signs, they are helpful.

Convenient location in between two train stations, close to large shopping centre and several food options. The simple Japanese breakfast is very nice.

The bed was so firm it was like sleeping on a board!

The Toyoko Inn is a chain of Inns. We found them all to be recently renovated. The rooms were very clean. A good size room and a comfortable bed. It's definitely value for money.

I'm wasn't a fan of the Japanese breakfast. Be prepared to use Google translate. The staff are all lovely and helpful but there are no English speaking staff.

Helpful staff. The hotel has no own parking but there is the next block of public parking. We can drop the baggage at the hotel before going to park.

Great hotel. The service was great. They helped us send our bags ahead to Kyoto via Yamato making our lives very easy.

Everthing is new. Coin laundry available. Breakfast ok (onigiri in 6 flavors, misoshiro and juice).

Ok but cold self checkin and checkout.

Included breakfast was more than what we expected. We are satisfied with this service for the price.

Staff were nice and friendly. Room was clean etc. There was plenty for breakfast.
