Hotel was within walking distance of train station and local eateries. The room was clean, beds and pillows great. (Harder bed as usual in Japan). There was a laundry and I borrowed an iron and ironing board. Clean towels and bottles of water on request.

The breakfast. I’d like to preface this by saying that Gifu is not your average westerner tourist place so naturally it’s more Japanese foods available on the buffet. And that’s perfectly fine, once you know you can eat elsewhere. So if you’re a bacon and eggs type of breakfast eater or vegetarian like me, I’d opt to go out for breakfast next time.

We LOVED this hotel, it was so cute, it was dressed all in Sakura vibes. The staff was VERY nice, friendly and accomodating. My sister is a handfull when it comes to forgetting stuff, and the staff was very helpfull. I actually forgot my glasses so I was blind the rest of the trip (2 weeks left) but I didn't want to bother them again lol. The location is perfect, for the bus (just in front of the bus stop) and the train/subway (a few steps from the train station). It has a direct entrance to a combini, and it has a mcdonalds on the side. Water pressure was amazing, the beds where really comfy and it was very clean. It literally was the perfect hotel. I was bummed that we only stayed here for a night.

There really was nothing I didn't liked.

Newly renovated rooms and very conveniently located next to the meitetsu gifu station. The laundry rooms are provided on level 3, 6 and 9 and I liked that it has the wash and dry options for 80 or 120 mins without having to transfer to another machine. Wifi was stable and no issues streaming shows. The hotel breakfast provided local dishes. Overall really good experience and value for money.

Room space was decent but twin beds were right next to one another and there was not much space to open up the luggages.

Great location, excellent staff at both the front desk and breakfast buffet.

Cleaning could be improved. There was hair in the sink and on the toilet seat, and the toilet bowl needed to be scrubbed (smear left by previous guest). A couple of cups were dirty on the rims (the front desk staff provided new cups straight away). I’m sure we could’ve asked for a room change and the staff would’ve kindly helped.

Right from smooth check in to smooth check out everything was super comfortable. Staff is extremely courteous. Rooms are super clean. They even provided amenities box to our kid containing slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush. We found it a very thoughtful gesture.

Some options for vegetarians could have added more value in breakfast. Bread, con flakes variety, tea, coffee, salads are tasty.

We visited Gifu on our way to Kanazawa, picking up our hire car in Gifu Hashima. It was an easy check-in, and we settled in the room quickly after a long day. It was very close to the train station and near good eating choices. The reception staff recommended a restaurant, which was very nice. A good stay overnight as a pit stop due to its comfort and convenience.

Good location, comfortable and quiet. The rooms were quite spacious and the bed was large. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was very easy, good amenities supplied at the reception area...washer/dryer combos available on multiple floors

No spare pillows, the ones supplied were a little flat, a second pillow would have been good

Staff were so lovely and accommodating! Hotel is modern, clean and has everything you need. Once we realised these were all over Japan we wished we had've stayed solely with them! Nice and close to the station, shops and restaurants. Plus convenient bus lines that stop out the front or across the road!

The location is more than perfect for business travelers - just 2 minutes away from Meitetsu station. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff is more than collaborative. They tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The amenities are perfectly chosen as variety and the rooms are very quiet.

I as for 5 days and the breakfast was one and the same every day. Besides that the choice was more than limited. There's no espresso or cappuccino at all!
