The owner can't speak English but is very welcoming, communication through translation app the owner uses works perfectly. The room is small but totally worth the value as the hotel is right located on a street has many easy-to-access restaurants, providing various options while also being few minutes walk away from JR Gifu and Meitetsu Gifu. Multiple bus lines are also available at JR Gifu. The room is also clean and well equipped. Don't forget to ask for a ご案内 business card at the front desk, the restaurants and spots suggested in the link are great if you don't know where to start from.

I don't remember there being breakfast, but there was coffee and tea and the coffee was extremely good. You can make espresso for yourself at any time of day. There are also amenities you can borrow, such as a selection of soaps, hair products, hair dryer, iron, etc. My room had both a fridge and a microwave. which I appreciated. The hotel was tucked off the main street, but was close to many restaurants and bars, though the location was not noisy at all. The styling of the hotel is very cute.

If you don't speak Japanese, you just have to do your best trying to communicate. This is a small business hotel, so the staff is not always at the desk (though they are close by). The hardest thing for me was that the entrance is on the second floor--I had a lot of heavy luggage, so dragging it up and down the steps was not easy. The staff was very kind, letting me store my bags at the hotel a couple days before I actually checked in.

Cute theming, room was basic but clean and had everything I needed. The price was affordable as well. If you like nightlife this area is "hopping" at night. Short walk to trains!!!

Stairs to enter the front of the hotel. Not sure if there is an accessable option so message the hotel before booking if you need that. Elevators inside though. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. It was perfect for me because I'm 5'5" but if you are taller or wider then the bathroom will likely be uncomfortable for you. Also there's a "girls bar" right next to the hotel which gave me a dubious opinion of the area 😅

What I enjoyed the most: 1. Vibrant location, full of izakayas, restaurants and cafes around. 2. 5-minute-walk from the train station. 3. The self-service corner with a good collection of tea and coffee. 4. There is a microwave oven in my room, perfect for snacks from convenient store. 5. Stylish lobby.

Peaceful, quiet place with friendly, smiley receptionist. There was an area to “borrow” essentials (I.e face wash, cream, beauty & care products). Attractions nearby: Gifu castle (20-30min bus ride away)

The location and price were amazing. I could easily walk from the station, as well as go out for dinner, drinks and karaoke with friends on the very next street. The check-in was really simple and available in English. The room was small but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a fridge, microwave and hair dryer. If you just need a simple place to crash for the night, then this is perfect.

The bathroom was ok for me, but my taller friend found using the toilet a bit of a yoga adventure with her knees touching the bathroom door. The shower was also pretty cramped, so if you want/need a bit more space (height and width both tight) in your bathroom, this might not be ideal. Personally I just needed convenient and functional rather than luxurious.

Very stylish , room was big and spacious. You can borrow additional amenities such as other types of shampoo and conditioner, flat iron, steamer, electric kettle, additional blanket etc.., close to the station, the room had a microwave and a big mini fridge. many restaurants and cafes nearby.

Just the bathroom was very small.But that’s pyrethrum standard for most places in Japan.
