The location is not hard to find and very easy to get to by bus (10min). I like the idea that we need to take off our shoes and wipe the wheels of our luggage before getting into the main area. It feels comfortable not to wear shoes everywhere. Nearby is a 24-hr supermarket which is very convenient if you are hungry late at night.

I dont really understand the problem to take some warm water from the breakfast venue to my own water bottle. I used a cup to carry the water and pour into my bottle because I need warm water. But I seemed to be scolded by a lady working at that venue to stop. I don’t understand Japanese, but her gesture was telling me to stop. If there is a water dispenser, but customers are not allowed to use it, then it would be quite unreasonable. It would be nice to have a sign in English to let customers know the rules. I’m happy to follow honestly.

The luggage wheels need to be cleaned at arrival and shoes put in lockers. There was a water dispenser and vending machines (beer, Cup Noodles) in the back. Amenities avaliable at the lobby and Japanese/western breakfast was very good! Staff was helpful and rooms were very clean. Many supermarkets within walking distance. Room faced Mt. Fuji (although it was cloudy).

Although on the main street, the hotel is a bit far from public transportation. There are bus stops, but nothing in English. We took a cab from the Shinkansen station to the hotel. Once the room key is taken out, all power is shut off in the room, leaving it like a sauna when you return... we didn't get to see Mt. Fuji due to the weather, so check which month's are best for viewing.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. We wanted a quiet evening away from the cities between Tokyo and Nagoya, and we also wanted a chance to see Fuji in all of it's glory. It was a 45 minute walk from Shin-Fuji station which gave you stunning views of the mountain as you walked towards it. It was 2 minutes from a local supermarket, and 10 minutes from the town centre that had plenty of bars and restaurants for food and drink. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and there were documents in both Japanese and English that explained any information we needed. There were decent amenities, and this was exactly what we wanted from the hotel.

It was quite a basic hotel with basic amenities. There was a fridge in each room but the microwave was on the bottom floor, and there was a vending machine again on the bottom floor.

The view of Mount Fuji was amazing!! It was a pity it was a very cloudy day the night we visited. The room was quite comfortable, and the toilet is decently big. They have washers and dryers for you to use & they provide pajamas as well. The bread in the breakfast provided is phenomenal!! They also have water & tea dispenser on the lobby from 3pm - 11pm. I liked how it’s a no shoe hotel, so you had to wipe your luggage and keep your shoes at the lobby. There is free parking less than a minute walk away from the hotel.

The breakfast is abit lacking, only the bread was nice. The room is a little small, we could not open 2 luggage’s at the same time.

Veeery good breakfast, we were lucky to have the room with Fuji-san view, very careful with cleanliness - ask to clean luggage wheels at the entrance and locker system for outside shoes, bus stop right near the hotel

A bit complicated system with outside shoes lockers, sleepwear were outside of the room and extra towels are near the elevators, after breakfast all the clothes with fried food smell, not much attractions in the town when there is cloudy or rainy weather and Fuji-san is shy, don’t recommend to walk from Shin-Fuji station to the hotel, find the bus or a taxi, because the road is through the plants and factories and road with dust and air pollution due to the trucks along the way.

Excellent hotel and service. Loved the traditional breakfast, best food I had during my whole Japan trip. We also appreciated the daily room cleaning.

If you are planning to travel to Kawaguchiko etc, it is quite hard to navigate with public transportation. I think there’s a bus but it only goes twice a day only. It took us roughly 2 hrs one way to kawaguchiko. Had to get a Shinkansen from shinfuji station then get a bus from Mishima. It is fairly close to Fujinomiya but have to take a taxi. Taxis are bit pricy there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean. Very big compared to a lot of business hotels. More than enough space for luggage, and even a desk. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very nice and spoke English very well. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel that goes to Fuji Station, which is very convenient.

There was quite the walk to the nearest stations and busses. Around 15-20 minutes, which isn't bad, but not ideal.

I was on the 7th floor and had an amazing view of Mt Fuji out my window. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. A more traditional Japanese experience than staying in a city hotel. A traditional Japanese breakfast was included. I highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore the area. The bus stop with regular buses to the train stations is right out the front of the hotel. It is great value for money and an authentic local experience.

Everything was very good.

Wow wow wow!! The views were next level. We could see Fiji from our window (request this side) I’ve never been in a hotel so clean in my entire life it was spotless Staff lovely, breakfast plentiful (thought some strange selections) Great that movies were also included in the room! Restaurants nearby

Sadly our fault we didn’t realise how far the location was from the Fuji attractions and the main spots. It’s near a lovely park but otherwise you need to travel 1 plus hours to get everywhere. But it’s great value for money for what it is.

The room with great view to Mount Fuji! There is a laundry room. You have to leave your shoes downstairs so there is no dirt in your room.

If you arrive early in the morning with a night bus, there is no busses going to the center in the early morning, so you have to walk around 3 km from the station. There is nothing much to do in the city. Breakfast was only Japanese food. There was a mix-up during check-in and the older customer service person behaved inappropriately. All the other staff though were super friendly!
