The buffet breakfast which consisted of both Japanese and western cuisines were delicious. The location was perfect being next to the Shin-Fuji Station which brings you to Tokyo via the Shinkansen in an hour. The hotel also provides a van shuttle to Fuji Station which is about 10 minutes away (Do check the schedules which is listed on a board in front of the hotel). From Fuji Station, one can take the local train to Fujinomiya Station which is 20 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location, comfort and convenience!

I had a great stay at Toyoko Inn Fuji! The location is incredibly convenient, being just a stone's throw away from Shin-Fuji Station, making it easy to get around. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the staff—they were extremely helpful and attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure guests had everything they needed. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, my stay was great, but one downside was the breakfast. The menu was a bit limited, so if you're looking for variety, it might not be the best option. However, the food that was available was decent, and considering the convenience and helpful staff, it didn't take away too much from the overall experience.

This property looks nicer than the photos. It’s right at shin Fuji train station when you walk outside. I really nice room on the top floor. I had an amazing view of Mount Fuji on the second day not a cloud in the sky. breakfast was included which was a lot of different types of Japanese food very delicious all types of drinks juices and the coffee was quite good. You can take the local bus downtown and I must see is the temple and the World Heritage Mount Fuji information heritage site. It was worth the 2 1/2 hours to go from Shin Fuji to Lake Kawaguchi which is the most famous of the 5 lakes. The view from the end of station five is incredible and there’s also the cable car you can take to the top for the most amazing view. I’m so glad that I did that trip even though it was a really long day. It was so worth it also to see Honcho Street.

Come to Japan to see local Japanese and their way of life, not see other tourists...lol. Do not be bothered that this hotel is not in a hot tourist spot, the hotel shuttle buses have fixed that, so no worries on it. Service, room, cleanliness etc are all good, so highly recommend this hotel. Btw, do take one of the shuttle buses out to Yoshiwara, you get to see the local way of life along the way! Plus, if you are worried about not being able to find the hotel, just stay here. It is right behind the Shin-Fuji Station! Even late at night, you will definitely see it!

The room was small but super practical. Room design was well thought through. 1 single room for 1 pax is v comfortable in terms of space. 2, I think will be tight. Amenities was complete. Nothing fancy but they hv pyjamas, microwave, the usual kits etc. They even hv laundry room which is super practical for me as I dont like bringing home back from travels dirty laundy. Bfast was sufficient. Again nothing fancy but practical. The check in is at 4pm and check out at 10am, but they hv free facility to put ur luggage which saves u money for the coin locker.

Bed was on the hard side, this is still ok for me. But the pillow was hard.

The place is very accessible to JR Fuji Station, there are convenient stores near the hotel.

The shuttle schedule was not included in the early communication that's why if u don't have WiFi connection upon arrival u can't easily browse their website. . Fortunately I was able to call the reception and Ur was very disappointing to hear the words, NO ENGLISH!" Better if frontliners specifically handling the calls should speak English because the hotel caters not only to locals but also to foreigners. We were just fortunate that during the check out, a beautiful lady, who looks American was the one duty and speaks English.

The small breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day. We had a room with a view of the shinkansen and Fuji overlooking the city. There's not too much to do around if you are just walking. We rented a car to drive the the 5 lakes and Fuji, and I think this is the way to go if staying here.

Hotel is located right next to the station so it's a quick ride to and from the city however this only applies to the shinkansen and the local station is quite a bit away. The AC in one of our rooms was quite weak though still sufficient given the heat outside.

The view of Mt Fuji was breathtaking. Laying back on the bed with Fuji out the window and Sumo wrestling on tv was perfect. Breakfast was mostly nice but the food tended to be cold. Cold sausage, cold scrambled eggs, warm soup. But the coffee and pastries were great. Right next to Shin-Fuji station and a huge supermarket that also sells lots of other things like electronic goods and clothes.

The 4pm check-in is not good at all. Lots of people waiting around for hours to check in on most days. I did know this was the policy as I've stayed at other Toyoko hotels, but I don't like it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Shizuoka. The staff was extremely helpful, offering to change our rooms so we could be closer to each other with a Mount Fuji view—a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even better. The location is also great, near JR Shin-Fuji Station, making it very convenient for travel. Highly recommended for both the service and the view!

It was very close to the Shinkansen station which was nice when arriving. Breakfast buffét was included and despite being a Westerner I found it absolutely delicious and nutritious for the climb up Mt. Fuji I was going to do that day. AC in the room helped me cool off from the scorching summer.

The pillows were quite hard if I remember correctly. But that's really all I could see as room for improvement.
