My stay at the Grand Hotel Fuji was, without a doubt, the highlight of my entire trip to Japan. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable but what truly took my breath away was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my room. Waking up to such a majestic sight each morning felt surreal. I stayed at several hotels throughout Japan, but none came close to the unforgettable experience I had here. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Fuji area. It truly exceeded all expectations.

Room is big. Staff is polite. Very comfortable stay. There is a special fridge that you can deodorise your clothes, especially if you’ve been wearing the same jacket daily. Lots of parking.

Only 2 choices for set breakfast. Either western or Japanese. If you stay there for a few nights, you’ll get sick of it. And there are so many items in the set. Can’t finish. Food wasted. Would prefer buffet breakfast where you can just take what you want to eat, and also the amount that you want to eat.

We came to just sleep here. It is inside the city with a little view of Mount Fuji. Go to chapel at highest floor, It has good view of Mount Fuji. Room and bath are spacious, but dated. The room is comfortable to sleep, but no view. The room keys are traditional and you have to leave them at reception😂, Why?????.

Old dated hotel

This is a really nice hotel—the rooms are big and the bathroom is huge! The breakfast was really lovely—a multi-course feast with excellent service. They really made us feel special. The town of Fuji is extremely quiet and industrial, with not much to do/see, but this place is a gem!

It was honestly great—I would not change a thing!

The room size was what was really appreciated. We were used to small rooms on our stays but Grand Fuji Hotel hotel room far exceeded our expectations. The bathroom with the glassed in shower and separate bathtub was something you'd find in a luxury hotel. The lobby was also very large and beautiful. I had the traditional Japanese breakfast. The grilled salted salmon was the best I had on my whole 2 week trip to Japan. The 5 star dining service and how everything was presented was first rate. This was one of the best hotels I stayed at during our vacation and we stayed an 6 different hotels during our stay. One last special treatment, when we checked out, the desk receptionist graciously ordered our taxi for us and as we got into the car came outside and bowed and thanked us for our stay one last time as we drove away. What a special touch.

The hotel itself is a bit out of the way but easy enough to catch a taxi or walk to the station to catch a bus to the busier Shin Fuji station. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but quite roomy.

Everything. it was a refreshing change to be served breakfast at table. Very elegant. Don’t worry- order at reception the previous evening and all will be there. large parking area outside. No charge. Rooms large and comfortable with kettle , light excluding drapes worked fine. Staff very attentive and helpful

Nothing. We have traveled extensively in Japan. This is one of the best. Good value and easy access to Mt Fuji and surrounding area. There is a restaurant but we never used it

cleanliness

made me feel like a criminal reporting I left without paying after I did pay. when I departed, I gave my key to the person at the front desk and he never indicated anything about payment. told me to go. I return the call after returning home to find that my stay was not paid even though I reserved with credit card. the property should make it clear that they will not have someone available to accept payment at check out during certain hours. this was my third stay. i have no reason to go without paying. Booking.com notified me today that I was reported after I paid the hotel yesterday after getting home.

I think the staff were exceptional, both extremely helpful and friendly. In particular, Mr. Iritsuki went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay.

Could have a washer in the building, given there is a dryer.

This hotel was within 7 minutes walk to Fuji Station, 7 Eleven convenient located very close. Great view of Mt Fuji
