Absolutely amazing!!! Great onsen a lots of snow. The onsen is definitely worth going to. So many options in women’s and men’s and three more outside as mixed. No tatoos so that may be a problem for some.Food was incredible. Healthy and tasty choices. You definitely get your money’s worth. The shuttle bus is definitely a big plus as it makes it super easy to get to the hotel.

A bit run down, but that’s definitely not a problem. Mentioning it bcs the other reviews. But there is definitely nothing to worry about. Everything is clean and the bed is really comfy.

I would highly recommend staying at Manza Prince Hotel! The rooms and the onsen were just excellent with a wonderful view of the mountains and the stars at night! I would definitely go back if I get the chance to visit Japan again.

This is no critic, but I would have liked getting a photo from the outdoor onsen, but other clients privacy prevails and cameras are prohibited which is much understandable.

A breathtaking location nestled high in the mountains, blanketed in snow. A dreamy, onsen especially when you take a dip during daytime, you can take in all the beauty. Food is superb albeit no cheaper options available.

Extra fee to use the kids snow play area. I hope there was also a shuttle service to go to the onsen village. Also, it's an outdated hotel.

Excellent place to stay. Magnificent onsen and ski slopes. This hotel is a perfect place for people who love skiing and look for open-air onsen. Buffet breakfast and dinner are great. You can eat crab as much as you can. Open-air bath is very beautiful. Ski-in ski-out hotel. Acess to the hotel is convenient via shuttle bus from Karuizawa station.

The area is realy nice, The room was at thecfirst floor Our son is a vegeterian, there is a resturant in the hotel that helped us find vegeterian dishes (NOT the all you can it buffet but the smaller resturant). The staff of thectestaurant was amayzing!!!

I could not access the public onsen due to a small tattoo on my arm. I know it is a traditional custom,however beiing denied access after a long trip and the illusion of having an onsen in a beautiful environment was quite disappointing. Please communicate that in advance not after booking

Wonderful open-air onsens with creamy white water and surrounded by great Nature! A lot of variety & choices for BF.

This is a large Hotel with a small entrance but a lot of group-touristsss, there were few(1) and very small elevator for East Wing , so You had to queue up in a long line and then people fought to cram in . The rooms are old - we had 3 - and need many improvements . BF TIME are a joke , peoples are crowded inside and fighting for foods - although there are plenty .

Clean and nice. Hot springs in all area hotels are free if you stay in the hotel. Needless to say, hot springs and views are exceptional.

Meal is super expensive. Dinner plus breakfast exceeds the basic fee for night stay. Has to take care of own meals before hand, the closest supermarket and convenience stores are in Kusatsu.

I arrived really late way past midnight, but the guy on the reception was still very welcoming and super polite despite obviously not sleeping waiting for me. The room was spacious and warm. The facilities — well maintained. The road to the place is an experience itself :)

The onsen is great, it is amazing to enjoy the hot water during the cold winter, when it is snowing. Just relax and enjoy the scenery. The hotel itself is good, I highly recommend to go there for relaxation.
