Perfect location for our needs ( we were attending a conference in the ACT centre which adjoins the hotel). Also walking distance to station and shopping

No bar to relax at in the evenings, and despite boasting many restaurants they were not all open and one needs booking 2 days ahead. The food was superb quality, wide choice at breakfast, and lower priced buffet option available but not every evening. Make sure you book in advance for all restaurants. Everything closes at 9 so need to eat early. This includes restaurants in the ACT centre. Don’t bother paying 1000 yen for the viewing floor if your room is reasonably high, you won’t see anything extra.

The hotel is centrally located next to Hamamatsu Station, that is accessible by the Shinkansen train from other major cities. There is a covered walkway from Level 2 of ACT City Mall into the hotel. The room is spacious and equipped with good amenities. There is a great view of the city from the room and the block-out curtains are very good to keep the room dark. It is within walking distance to 24/7 convenient stores and several restaurants and retail outlets for shopping.

Unfortunately, the WiFi access is specific and limited to your room only. There will be not any WiFi access when being in the lobby or during breakfast in the restaurant.

Great location, a hop, skip and a jump away from Hamamatsu's train and bus stations. Sizable room with superb views over the city, and a bright bathroom with a powerful shower. Check-in was efficient - and we got into our room despite arriving at the hotel about 45 minutes early - and check-out quick. Didn't eat at any of the hotels restaurants, but there seemed to be a choice of three or four.

The lift advertising a viewpoint on the hotel rooftop seemed only to go as far as the floor below. Perhaps there were stairs to take from the 44th to the 45th floor, but, if so, they weren't signposted. A local couple was as confused as my wife and me.

The room always on the high floor we can enjoy the view of Hamamatsu City whether on the mountain side or the train station side nice and beautiful at night. The staffs at the breakfast room very polite and good services. variety of menu for the buffet breakfast Room size is compact but very comfortable, short walk to Hamamatsu station

Difficult to communicate with some front desk staffs, especially some request such as changing the room to be higher floor or on the other side of the building as sometime we can hear the train running, they will not understand the reason. Flexibility with limited English language communication sometime make me feel upset (not only this hotel).

We spent the night here as the drive from the airport to our first location on this trip was too long after the long flight. We booked it based on where we were at the time, and did not expect much. But both the hotel and the location made for a great start of our wonderful vacation. The room was massive with an amazing view. The staff was wonderful and helpful and there was parking in the parking garage below. We parked the car in a wrong spot and it was lifted up because of this, so we had to call for help. but even the two parking guards were super friendly after they realized we just missed the Japanese signs for 'don't park here'. The breakfast was also nice.

For an international hotel, I think signage in English in the parking garage is required.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Hamamatsu! The staff was kind and professional, and the check-in was smooth and easy. The room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable — everything I needed for a restful night. The location was convenient too, close to public transport and local restaurants. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Hamamatsu!

we did not include breakfast as lots of eatery nearby. easy connection to the Hamamatsu Station via a covered underpass. no worry of getting wet when raining. few shopping centres within walking distance. fantastic view of the city from my 44th room.

not in the Hotel. but some rough sleepers around the station area which results in urine strench.

This wasn't my first stay and it's always clean and tidy, and generally the staff are very helpful.

The staff at the reception/check-in was not friendly at all, at the beginning, but as soon as she realised that I was a customer, invited by the local company, she changed her attitudes. That is the opposite of 'omotenashi' spirits, and I was very disappointed.

great room and facilities, the view is stunning, bathroom was great and bed super conforable Great acess to the train station and so many interesting things to do in the Hotel itself

Staff at the recption were unusually cold and dismissive when we arrived, it was really unusual for Japanese standards. They were all negative and not really communicative. Situation changed in the afternoon when a very professional lady checked us in

Great location being so close to the train station and shopping centre. Large room, great breakfast and service.

The beds were hard, furniture in the room was dated being old and dark and had standard lamps. Due for a revamp.
