A very sweet family run hostel - lots of great facilities. The lady who runs it was lovely and her children were sooo sweet. Easy to meet people and a nice common space. Laundry was easy too.

The location means you walk a bit to get to most places but that’s not a huge issue. The capsules themselves were a bit hot and luggage storage space in the room is limited but this isn’t really an issue - there’s ac in the room so just turn that on.

What a wonderful stay. The family who runs the guesthouse are so lovely and their children are adorable. I basically had a 6-person room to myself, the location of the guesthouse is great and they have a great kitchen and hangout area. Spent the nights talking to the other guests at the house and had a great time. Would 100% stay here if I come back.

Lovely home and very kind family. It felt like I was home! Would recommend for solo or adventuring travelers who wish to experience the best of Ishigaki!

None! I went in August and experienced frequent rainfalls, but the home was warm enough to make me feel secured and comfortable.

Super friendly, welcoming family who let us share their home for a few days. It’s easy to meet other travelers, use the kitchen and just hang out if you want. The double rooms are great if you’re not keen on sharing sleeping space. The host also helped us rent a car which was delivered to the guest house.

The futons were ok but not super comfortable for a 40+ body, but teenagers didn’t complain

It was an accommodation in Japanese traditional family house style. Many parts were made of wood and I liked that smell and the feel. O It is not a new house but It was clean, and the private bunk bed made of wood with the fan was very comfortable. Somehow there was a very comforting atmosphere in that facility by the family own place. And the family was easy going, nice and friendly.

There was not much that I didn’t like.

Very friendly staff, the guesthouse has a very homely feel to it which is great to interact with other people. The capsule style bed was impeccably laid out, a gorgeous wood furnished cabin with a shelf and a curtain that blocked the view from the entrance pretty well. They also had a carpark which for 500 yen you could park for 24 hours, even after you had checked out.

The bathroom facilities could of been modernised a little bit.

The kitchen was well stocked, organized, and great to cook in. They supply storage bins and a large refrigerator for guests. I liked the bath products.

lovely couple running t he guesthouse, 10 minute walk from the bus station, town and port. very clean, with kitchen and a washing machine. would recommend if your in Ishigaki

Such a nice and welcoming family who runs this guesthouse! Kitchen is great for cooking. Bathrooms spacious. Chill living room. 5 minute walk to the ferry port, main izakayas and shopping. I recommend everyone to stay there :)

it is a capsule-style dormitory room. it is separated into female/male rooms the capsule Is pretty spacy, I can sit down straight easily (i am 163 cm standing up) it is my first time sleeping so comfortably in a capsule-style hotel!

the space where you put your luggage could be bigger so that we have more space. but I am not complaining.
