The staff was extremely friendly and the place was well maintained and clean! Very convenient location as well

The rooms are good size with 4 beds in the room only. All located next to dorr though. The beds are comfy but like all Japanese a bit hard. Pillow hard too. The common place has a good kichen with all the utensilsyou need,, free comfy and green tea to use any time. The kitchen in kind of in the smame place as doorms, so can be noisy. I asked to be moved upstairs. The comon space is full of flowers and very pleasnt to be.

The staff doesnt let you chose the beds. Even though they were free.

Super clean, super spacious & comfy lounge. I booked different hostels in hopes of finding the right hostel, and this was just the one I was looking for. Wide and Fully air-conditioned lounge with plenty of chairs, tables, and sofas to indulge in your book or open up a chat with the other guests. Also, they have a strict rule of making sure the lounge is not noisy after 11, which makes it all the more better because you ate guaranteed to get a good night’s sleep -you’ll need it to get around Ishigaki. Definitely coming back to this hostel when I visit Ishigaki again.

Nothing!! They even provide not one, but two new towels everyday!! What can I say more?

New and clean. Cozy, met good people, and the staff were helpful and nice.

Sometimes the bathroom area was a bit messy although most of the time it was clean and pleasant. The tatami are of the room was nice, but foreigners didn’t understand the concept and stepped in with shoes which could have been prevented if there was a clear sign.

Quite liked this place, the communal area is open and bright, kitchen is stocked (spices and oil avalable, ask staff, no problem) stayed in a dorm, not capsule style. Nice staff, friendly, Okinawa style. During my stay there were mostly locals and hanging out was nice and made the experience cozy and friendly. Ishigaki is an awesome island, and this is a good base to explore it from. Close to the "downtown" area on foot, 8min walk, 16 min walk to the closest big supermarket. First bus stop 3 min walk.

One of the best hostel I've ever been. Everything is made to feel you good. Receptionist were friendly and gave me good advices, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Everything is modern and after 10pm is really quiet. The bed is comfy and you have privacy. It's close to the bus station, ferry and busy Ishigaki area.

Lovely hostel, well located for the bus station and terminal. Friendly staff, place was immaculate. I extended my stay and used it as a base for island hopping. Highly recommended.

There is a desk in the female dorm which took up room we could have used for luggage storage. Other than that, no issues, it's a lovely place to stay.

This is the perfect place to stay if you need/want to stay in Ishigaki city while on the island. It’s clean, ist bright, the people are friendly and it’s over all a nice vibe. The staff is super helpful and the public areas are also super cool. The location is also good. You are close to the downtown area and the ferry to the other islands. There are restaurants and everything arround.

It was an awesome stay. The people there were very friendly and it was so far the best hostel in Japan I have been to. All people there were like a family and it's just a nice atmosphere

- very clean - walkable distance to all the restaurants/bars in town and close to the bus stops - nice staff - a great common area to work or hang out

- the mattress is very thin and you could feel the wood below. A bigger mattress would be appropriate for the futon style beds.
