Modern with nice library with a great selection of English books. We booked family room which was huge as I wanted sea view (see below), 2 showers, 2 toilets

1) We were probably the only guests in the place. The library was a little chilly, we asked to take a couple of books to our room. Rejected. Mindless stupid decision- if we were going to steal the books we would not have asked. 2) Check out is 10am. We wanted something to eat …. The young lady gave me the menu, I pored over it and gave an order “we only serve drinks after 9:30am” Tell me before!! 3) Don’t bother about the sea view. Its a view of carparks and cranes 4) if you want a sea view- we stayed at Aloalo Guest house near Kabira Bay - wonderful, definite 10 with great snorkeling

The hotel is next to the Ishigaki port. Near the Main Street. The traffic is very convenience. All the waitresses are nice and kawaii. Communicate in English is ok.

The twin room could be better designed, it's a total waste of space having the bunk bed area. I almost hit my head numerous times!

- location was really good, close to the bus terminal - room was big - laundry washing for free

- no safe to lock away important things - cleaning staff entered the room, even when we have chosen no cleaning today on the tablet and especially sensitized the hotel staff at the check in counter, that we don't want someone to enter and clean the room. Only happened once but this is a no go. - washing sink at the toilet was to small to use even for asian woman hands. - elevator always stops at the second floor when going up.

very close to harbour

certain breakfast menus can only be ordered with an app. But this did not work. Although I can understand, that it is not allowed to take breakfast items to the room, the personell enforced it, even though they knew I was sick and could hardly eat. you have to be careful not to hit your head, as there are upper beds as well.

New/ modern feel, great location next to the port. Good breakfast. Big comfy rooms. Great high tech shower. Bluetooth speaker for chilled beats.

One or two staff speak any English for the western guests. As 90% of guests are Japanese this is understandable.
