It was a great stay for both me and my wife. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that plans to visit Tokyo. The breakfasts were probably the best we had in Japan, exceeding some 5 stars hotels from international brands. One time we also took the lunch and it was delicious, although maybe a bit on the expensive side. The train station was just 2 minutes away, and we reached the major Tokyo attractions within <1 hour, and the beautiful harbor in Yokohama in just 30 minutes. Haneda airport was also easily accessible, with a direct train departing from a station within 10 minutes walk.

The gym could be bigger perhaps, but there is a professional one with a discount for hotel guests in the close vicinity.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is just next to Kawasaki station, which is connected to many subway lines to downtown Tokyo and Yokohama, and a big shopping mall is nearby. Many restaurants and shops are around. If you take a less than 10 min walk to Keikyu-kawasaki station, you can take a direct train to Haneda airport within 20 mins. Although the hotel is just next to the train station, it is still quiet due to the efficient sound insulation. In fact, my room is just facing the railroad, I could barely hear the noise even in the rush hour. Except for the great location, the facility in the room is also nice. There is a large bathtub and independent air conditioning, which means you can change the cooling and heating modes and temperature freely. The room size is also larger than most hotels in the same area.

Although it is slightly pricey, I think the quality indeed matches the price. The only thing I may complain about is that the fridge is a bit small.

The location is excellent, within a few minutes by walk from JR Station Kawasaki, and within 10 min. walk from Keikyu Kawasaki Station as well as 4-5 min. walk from the bus terminal. It's also right next to shopping malls, Lazona Kawasaki and Atre. I very much liked the availability of automated laundry machines and microwave ovens. The staff are attentive to guests' needs and are always very helpful.

It would have been great to have a better fitness room, with more space and equipment, or to have some kinds of arrangements between the hotel and the two fitness facilities (Konami Sporta Kawasaki and Jexer Kawasaki) to allow the guests to have access during their stay at discount rates.

Hotel is conveniently located next to JR Kawasaki station and Lazona Mall which offers lots of restaurants and shopping options. I feel like Kawasaki have almost everything and I’m glad to have chosen my stay at this hotel. Front desk staff - Watanabe-san - was also very friendly and able to communicate fluently in English during check-in. Overall, a pleasant experience!

The hotel exceeded my expectation. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, great water pressure for the shower, and a bathtub that was deep enough and correctly moulded for a relaxing soak. The mini-drip coffee bags provided in the room produced surprisingly satisfying cups of Joe. The staff were courteous, professional and helpful. The local location was very safe and very convenient. It was an easy 15-min train ride from Haneda Airport, followed by a 15-min walk from the Keikyu Kawasaki Station. But it’s only a 5-min walk from the JR Kawasaki station. The hotel is connected by underground and covered walkways to an abundance of shops and restaurants.

Since Kawasaki is a major suburb of Tokyo on the south side, it’s a trek to the major tourist areas. I spent about 1,000 yen per day on public transportation, albeit I did venture out to the north side of Tokyo on some days. But the trains into town are many and frequent. Just try to avoid rush hours.

The professionalism of the hotel staff is exceptional. They are always ready to help and anticipate the guests' needs. I very much appreciate the help I received. Despite arriving early before check-in time, I just needed the correct type of cable to charge my mobile immediately upon arrival at the hotel after a long flight. On the day of check-out, they helped me pack and ship a box with extra items to the hotel near the airport, where I would stay until my flight back to Europe.

There isn't much that I didn't like. Perhaps I would have preferred to see more space and training machines and equipment in the fitness room of the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was exceptionally clean and perfectly located—right next to the train station and a large shopping mall, with several convenience stores just steps away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the provided sleepwear and complete set of toiletries. Our room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of five (2 adults and 3 kids). We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip!

The space of the room is a bit small, but I believe all Japan is like this

1. This hotel is a new and with very detailed and neat decorates. 2. The atomospheres is fantastic and make us feel relax. 3. Seeing the sun rise at 14th floor is worth everything. 4. Breakfast is 2500 yen each person but I think worth it. Colorful drinks and fresh fruits/vegetables make the day perfect! 5. The most important thing is the workers in the hotel and frontdesk are very professional and nice! They help me to call the cab at 3:00 am to Honeda airport. So if you want to make a nice visit to Kawasaki you better choose this wonderful hotel!

Room is a bit small for two persons. But I can bearly handle with it.

I wish I had 10 times the amount of space to share all that this staff did for us on our stay. I was staying at an Airbnb in a different part of the city and I had to leave it unexpectedly. I needed to find alternative lodging that wasn't far from the airport and a place where I could just rest and recover. The challenge was I spoke very little Japanese and was struggling to find a place and get transportation there. In my search, I found Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki. I was able to reserve a room without issue but I still had to get there. Without going into the personal details I will just say the staff here found a way to help me, way above and beyond what anyone should reasonably expect. Mr. N. in reservations in particular went above and beyond any level of service I have experienced before. Once at the hotel they quickly helped me get settled and ensured all was well. I stayed for several days and could not be more pleased with my room, the food, the front desk, the doorman, the services, and all the things you would expect. But, most importantly, they treated me like family - incredible when you consider that we often had to work through language challenges and I was just another traveler. Their help far exceeded what anyone should expect, even from a fine Hotel. I will forever be grateful to Mr. N. and Ms. N. who took on my challenges and were my angels.
