First time in a capsule hotel, it was spacious enough, I'm 6' 2" so my feet were close to the exit but it wasn't uncomfortable, A little warm in the summer so either sleep bare or have a really thin blanket. It's close to the station and has 2 shopping complexes in close proximity. Vending machines were awesome and the bath/spa were awesome. Bathroom was clean and the prepared towels and clothing were perfect. Manga and massage area were great just that the manga were all in japanese.

The food options and quality in the inn were ok but not as good as others. But there are nice food spots outside. Bring slippers for the spa/bathroom or for walking around the halls. As I said before, the capsule can get a bit warm in summer. Don't touch the medical self check machine it's useless.

Rex-Inn is a male capsule hotel, about 5 minutes on foot from central Kawasaki and the station. It mainly caters to locals, and less so to tourists. This is noticeable with little English and no tourism information at hand at all, they won't hold your luggage for free either. That said, it is a very cost-effective way of staying central. The shared bath and sauna are very enjoyable. WiFi works fine and staff will help you as much as possible.

Beds are a bit hard and service hours limited. The place is also old, but will move to a new location soon.

I liked the bath, it was ice cold water and hot hot water. Nice mix.

I asked for a quiet room. Many rooms spare and quiet corners. I am a regular, I have been there a few times, so I was disappointed the staff did not take my request. I was next to someone who had the TV on full loud volume late at night, and it was sex noises TV sounds.

I found this place to be quite charming. It has a kind of old aesthetic, but it gets the job done and is pretty close to the main Kawasaki station. The public bath is also pretty big compared to the public baths in other capsule hotels and I think it has a nice vibe to it. There are also milk vending machines with the tasty kind of milk you’d find at some onsens.

The traditional japanese onsen is a great experience. The capsule was comfortable and had a small TV. The staff was very nice even though they couldn't really speak English.

A lot of signs were only available in Japanese, but I could use the photo translation on my phone. If you want to make a call, you have to go to a small break room on your floor, which is not air conditioned. On the 3rd floor it's a smoking room so I also had to go to a different floor.

Public onsen was a great experience. Hotel was like traveling back in time. Authentic Japanese experience. Restaurant was great. Exceed expectations for the price.

Some basic Japanese is helpful before staying here. Not too many tourists but staff speak adequate English when I went.

When you walk from JR Kawasaki Station towards La Cittadella, you'll find a capsule hotel tucked away towards the back. Inside, there's a large communal bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna, which I think is more than enough for a solo trip.

I was disappointed that some of the changing rooms were not cleaned properly.

A hidden gem. I like going there every time I end up traveling to Tokyo. Easy access from Haneda Airport, Malls everywhere, JR & Keikyu Line nearby. The best thing about it is the public baths that is included in this hotel.

Location is right at JR Kawasaki and there are a lot of restaurants nearby

The floors are quite complicated and you need to wait to use elevator because your sleeping cabin, bathing room, and locker room are at different floors.

Right beside the train station. Some of the staff spoke English which made things easier. Typical capsule hotel with small onsen /offuro upstairs. Communal area with comfy seats and hammocks. I would stay again

Check-in is 3pm. I had to pay ¥500 to store my big bag as I arrived very early in the morning
