Very good value for money. Great location, not far from station and Maizuru Castle. Clean, nice room with big windows, cosy shared kitchen. Air conditioner worked perfectly. We didn't meet staff in person, but during our stay they arranged a nice opportunity for hotel guests to buy delicious Yamanashi peaches for a good price.

Would be nice to meet staff maybe... But it's their choice to work remotely. In any case, the remote system worked perfectly.

Great location. It was easy to check in using the self service tablet. The bunk beds in the rooms were made looked clean. I liked the lounge area, it was a shame there were not any people to share a conversation with

It was a fine place to stay within walking distance of most things. The layout was good and it was a comfortable stay. It could do with a little love and cleaning but it is understandable with the whole covid situation. I would probably stay again if I find myself in kofu.

It needs a little bit of cleaning and maintenance.

The staff is very friendly, we spent a night talking and drinking Umeshu (made by them) together. Room was warm and the bathroom clean. Super reccomended!

Hosts were super nice and very centrally located to the bus stop. Had a fun party at the bar area at the hostel and met locals, 10/10

Being a solo traveller having a large room to myself was a real treat, the tatami flooring was very spacious for 1, but would be topped and tailed if 4 people stayed.

The fans in the room had quite a large build up of dust which wasn't very pleasing to view and was a little concerning to sleep with. It was also a shame that there was never any staff in the hotel despite it being advertised with a bar, the bar was completely closed and the desk never had any staff, all check-in/out is done through an ipad.

a pretty good guesthouse for a good price. this guesthouse is about a 5-10 minute walk to the station, all flat and pretty much all straight. there's a family mart about 5 minutes away which is nice, and many restaurants and bars closer towards the station. check in was easy and contactless,bed were comfy enough, and rooms were pretty clean. bathrooms could be cleaner but nothing outwardly dirty, and they are in the rooms. there is a bar downstairs, but I personally never saw any staff members during my whole stay. overall for the price, it was decent enough for a couple nights stay but probably not many more.

maybe it was just the time of year but there wasn't any real vibe to the place. not a deal breaker, but if you're looking to meet people I personally didn't have any luck. also the common room/kitchen area could do with a bit more cleaning. I had a food wrapper that i put down for a minute and it was covered in fruit flies when I picked it back up again.
