I always love the breakfast at the Asahikan. It might be not be a suitable hotel for some, but I find it to be convenient, quiet, and easy to deal with. Also, the parking is free and easy.

I booked a smoking room by mistake. Reception staff was able to switch me to a smoking room that did not smell too bad. Breakfast was nice. They permitted baggage storage on day of departure.

i miss my last train and ended up in Kofu. i booked a room online around 11:00 pm and my train was to arrive at the destination at 0:35… A staff member kindly called me to ensure that the front desk is open 24 hours so i don’t have to worry. Very kind!

The name on this hotel is Kofu Prince Hotel, then the Kanji characters for asahikan. Because you (booking.com) call it a Asahikan made it very difficult to find the hotel. Please use the correct name in the future.

The breakfast was simple, but very tasty. The staff was friendly and made an effort to give us a good room.

Everything is a little old and our room might have been dusty, so it triggered my allergies.

Nice breakfast, very close to the Kofo rail station, No English speaker, so it's better to get translation software with you.
