As a traveller with walking difficulties, I was so grateful to the breakfast room staff. Seeing that seating was on tatami mats, I was going to skip the breakfast I had paid for . The staff instead set me up a small table and chair in the back room and brought me through a breakfast on a tray. Most thoughtful, considerate, and kind..

Not an easy walk from the station, I would advise travellers in Japan to factor in a small taxi fare when considering budget accommodation. Like most hotels of this type, no externa phonel calls can be made from one's room.

It was a bit hot in the room. Maybe I don't know how to use the room.

The size of the room is enough for a solo traveler. The room is clean and basic needs for travel are complete (toiletries, blower, Electric water boiler). Staff is accommodating. Near the convenience store. Walking distance from the train station.

It’s a very good place to stay because there are some restaurants and other places nearby to go with your family or friends. Excellent service at the hotel. It was really nice.

Staff were helpful and friendly and had detailed info about bike renting options in Kofu at check in (I had mentioned this when booking) - unlike most hotels, they remembered this; I liked the bath powder (among the facilities) in the lobby; I made use of the microwave and ice machine; spacious bathroom; window opened (nice to find this in Japanese hotels)...

Check out at 10 (instead of 11); having to leave your key at reception every time (I didn't); location is a little far from the station; only 2 clothes hangers; no 'eco/green' housekeeping option...
