The location worked perfectly well for me though others might prefer the other side of the river. The staff was impeccable, very helpful. The instructions listed lots of fine amenities, which I didn't actually profit from because my schedule was tight, but I really wish I would have the time for them.

It was hot and humid, mosquitoes everywhere, and also on the room, which was a surprise given the air conditioning and that at first glance all seemed impaccably clean. I left the hotel with quite a few itches from bites I got during the night. That was the only drawback in an otherwise very satisfying stay.

The spaces in the room is good for 2 persons with open up luggage. There.is aircon in the room. The breakfast selection is specially curated and guest can choose. We had the Japanese breakfast which was exceptionally tasty and was just perfect. The parking is just next to the hotel which makes loading of luggage easy especially during rainy season. Guests get to choose the type of hair shampoo and conditioners, and extra pillow if needed. At the lounge on the ground floor, there is free drinks incl wines served and venison curry between7.30 to 9pm.

I am.not a family of carpets..it creates resistance to the luggage trolley. The decor.of hotel is quite dated, gives you the sense of living in an old.english hotel.

Transport from the airport was easy. The people at the airport were helpful and told us to get off at the Fisherman Wharf Terminal (980 yen per person). From there, it was a 10min walk to hotel. This was with luggage walking on the icy road. The breakfast at this hotel was super. We had a choice of 4 set breakfast to choose from (japanese and western) and inform reception the night before. Each set was a meal as good as any lunch or dinner set. In addition there was a buffet with salads, salmon sashimi, yogurt, cheeses, desserts and even wine. There was a lounge where soup was available in the afternoon and from 7.30-11pm, there was complimentary half portion of Venison curry. And there was wine too. There was a pillow bar and a shampoo bar where guests could chooses their pillows and their shampoo and conditioner. There was also a bath-salt bar. The hotel is also close to small eateries and restaurants. All within a 15min walk. All the staff at the reception were very kind and obliging. When we told them that we would have to miss breakfast because of an early morning tour and asked if we could swap it for lunch instead, the staff member said Yes without hesitation. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Kushiro.

Would be good if the staff could help in providing information on the tours esp the popular ones like those going to the marshlands to see the cranes. We googled and made bookings online and when we needed clarification, we had to go downstairs to ask recep to call them as we could not speak Japanese.

This hotel is a complete gem. Nicely appointed and in a great location on the river. All of the staff were very kind and helpful, which was much appreciated given we do not speak Japanese. The breakfasts included in the room price were bountiful and amazing. We were also pleasantly surprised by the additional complimentary items such as a bath salt bar, hair and shampoo bar, and a glass of red wine and venison curry in the restaurant each night. All of these items were sampled and thoroughly enjoyed. Well done to the management and staff!

Nothing comes to mind

The room was spacious enough and was clean. The laundromat was helpful for us. The hotel has a lounge that offers hot drinks and red wine. They also serve a small portion of venison curry at night. The breakfast was to die for. They offer 3 Japanese choices and a western one. We stayed for 3 nights so we tried all 3 versions of the Japanese breakfast. They were exceptional. Overall we were very happy with his hotel. I would highly recommend it.

It was our second time back at this hotel. Yes it’s slightly old, dated design but the staff was friendly, accommodative. They were genuinely proud of the hotel. Hotel had a shampoo bar; wine n small bits of food. They had a laudramat as well and fully equipped. Their breakfast? Included n wonderful to eat to start off your day. Lovely n would return

It was lucky that we managed to stay in a larger room. Other rooms was slightly smaller. Comfortable for 2 person still.

It's clearly more a business hotel than a tourism hotel, but they've come up with many smart and fun ideas, and free stuff, and goodies, which are original and unexpected, and therefore significantly enhance the experience.

Unfortunately, there's no restaurant for dinner so grabbing some food from the vending machine (and, to be honest, the free half-serving of venison that was one of the free goodies, together with red wine) was a bit of a low in an otherwise good experience. But the real issue was when we realized we had overlooked the booking of the breakfasts - we thought we could fix that easily, but we were almost frog-marched out of the restaurant and it took the reception employee half an hour to solve the problem!

This Hotel has the best view of of the Kushiro town. It was very relaxing and quiet and peaceful place. Staff at the hotel will go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing stay. Facilities and Rooms are good and comfortable. Room and Bathroom was really clean. I booked Japanese style room which had small cute garden in the balcony and it was great experience. there was shampoo, pillow and aroma bar which you can select. it was great experience and I will definitely stay here again.

If I really have to pick on something then I would say Hot water pressure in the shower was not strong. But it didn't bother me as Japanese style room comes with large bath tub and you can get free bath salt from lobby and choose from several options.

We booked a twin and a double room; both were comfortable and spacious enough with a seating area. Free parking beside the hotel. Highlight was the excellent breakfast! 4 sets to choose from; we tried 3 of them and all did not disappoint. Quite different from the usual hotel breakfasts offered at other places we've stayed in. In the evening, curry rice was served in the lounge. Drinks were available there too.

- The closest convenient store is more than 5 minutes away - Shower water pressure is not very good; water temperature is barely adjustable (knob was stuck)
