A lot of effort is made for the comfort of guests. The room is quite clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast selection is really diverse and delicious. The hotel has lovely terrace and a beautiful views. The Shuttle Bus service is very comfortable and I was able to move around the resort freely and quickly. The resort itself propose good selection of entertainment and dining options. There are some lovely beaches in close proximity. There is also free transfer from and to Miyako Airport. I would definitely use Shigira Resort hotel once again if I would come visit Miyako Island in the future. And I definitely recommend Hot Cross Point Santa Monica as well.

Free private airport shuttle provided by Shigara resort. Easy to find on arrival. Return to airport also free, to be reserved at reception. "Twin room" spartan, but very functional. In-room safe. After 4 pm free shuttle bus to other areas of Shigara resort. Good breakfast buffet.

Room description "hot tub" is deceptive. There is in fact a Japanese style bathing enclosure with a small bathtub next to the stand-up shower. Although part of the Shigara complex, hotel is a bit far from the other areas. No shuttle bus before 4 pm. Reception staff very limited in languages other than Japanese.

Great location, beautiful view. The room was a comfortable, lovely bathroom shower. The staff was exceptional helping us with car rental during a busy time ( Miyako music festival). The breakfast was great too! Loved everything and would definitely go back.

The design of the room (color tone, use of furniture and electric appliances) were stylish and simple. I enjoyed the minimalistic style. The room was throughly cleaned and felt comfortable.

You need to go to the elevator area in order to call the reception as there is no phone to use in the room. Also, there was no switch to operate a fan in the shower room so if you close the door after shower, humidity is caught inside the bathroom.

Shuttle bus and tuk tuk services are very convenient and right on schedule. Breakfast is great and the menu changes

Cosy hotel on good location. They serve reach self service breakfast. Good value for the money.

It was reasonably priced in a great location, part of the Shigira resort. The corner room was of a very nice size, and the bathroom in particular was very stylish and clean. The shower pressure was strong and the bathtub was long. The toilet was also located conveniently for privacy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the handsome gentleman who greeted us upon arrival (I didn’t catch his name).

The balcony had some cobwebs on it. Maybe needs a quick tidy before we arrived.

The staff was great. They ensured my stay was more than exceptional.

We had a fantastic ocean view from our room. We had the room at the Santa Monica Sunset with balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic! A 3 star hotel but with service of a 5 star hotel.

Everything was fine!
