A clean and modern hotel that is part of the Shigira resort complex on the main island's south coast. Beds were super comfortable and we all slept really well. There isn't a restaurant in the building so breakfast buffet is at the hotel opposite - we tried it one day and it was delicious. Hotel has coin-op laundry which was handy. There are lots of cafes and isakaya in the area so you don't need to eat in the (more expensive) resort-run restaurants unless you want to. Having a car helped us get around to other bits of the island but also hired an e-bike one day which was also great.

The pool was nice during the day when quiet, but the hotel runs an entertainment night around the pool in the evenings with loud music. On weekdays this was aimed at young kids so unbearable. At weekends it's aimed at adults so the music is better, but not really the chilled out experience we were looking for. That being said, the beaches on Miyako-jima are so good that you don't really need the pool.

Very convenient shuttle bus to airport. Various dining choices within short distance. Clean room. Enough space. Small size swimming pool but good enough when it's not crowded. Umbrella to borrow. Good breakfast (at Saint Monica). Friendly and helpful staffs.(Special thank to the female staff who was in the front desk about 7:30 of July 28th. My apologies I didn't got her name)

Bathroom including washing basin, shower and toilet are in the same sight. There is a glass door but it's not convenient for two people using at the same time. Coffee service (whether instant coffee bags or coffee machine at lobby) will be very welcomed.

Clean, bright, located just over the road from the beach so it’s quieter and more private than its twin hotel Santa Monica. The hotel is in the Shigira complex so you receive complementary cable seats ticket (800yen/adult) and one time parking at Shigira beach (1000yen/car). The facilities are generous. I will come back.

To get driving direction to the hotel in Google you have to select Hotel Sea Breeze Casual, not “Hotel Seabreeze Coral”.

Absolutely insane value for money, rooms are modern, especially the bathroom : everything is new and comfortable, great size and lighting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, it was a delight to deal with them. Location and shuttle service makes the impression even better, I rarely expect more than said in description, but this hotel is surely a gem for its price and area.

I wish to have 2 pillows, but it's really very minor.

The quietness of the area (apart from the club called "Funky Flamingo", which I personally did not like). The ability to use the facilities from the hotel in front called "Santa Monica" with a very nice pool and sauna with windows facing the sea. And in general the fact that Sea Breeze Hotel is part of the Shigira Resorts Hotels, so it was possible to dine out or use other hotel facilities and still having them connected to my hotel - in terms of payments.

None of the windows faced the sea.

Awesome hotel I book my hotel 1 day early and didn’t realize it as my flight was from LAX to HNL to GUM to MNL to NRT then HND to MMY and was told that i will have to pay the extra day however the customer service was kind enough and told me they will not charge me Instead they will move booking even though it was my fault for not notifying them ahead of time

Hotel os perfect

The location is good. Beach is nearby. And there are restaurants and onsen nearby. The hotel staff are friendly. The room is clean. The hotel is in the resort area and there are shuttle buses services, quite convenient. The neighbour hotel provides motorcycle rental service, 2200 yan for 3 hours.

Nice area for beautiful beaches. Hotel rooms are fairly nice.

There's not many restaurants or anything in this area and there's no bus so you'll have to take a taxi to visit the town. The resort restaurants were ok but not much authentic local Miyakojima food.

Location: Excellent near Golden Onsen. Near Village. Shuttle service to puck up from Miyoko airport. Staff: Kind and helpful.
