The common area and kitchen are especially beautiful, with a stunning ocean view. I enjoyed sitting in the garden, watching the sea, and listening to the waves, too. The room was very spacious and the staff were amazing. I had a great time.

These are slight inconveniences and they won't prevent me from staying at Little Garden again. The showers are on the first floor and the rooms are on the second floor, so you need to go up and down stairs to use them. I visited during an especially hot, humid weekend in June. My room had air conditioning and the common area did, too, but the hallways were muggy. So be prepared to walk in and out of different climates within the building.

I’m not a morning person but the hotel room made me see the sunrise twice! 😍 I love how spacious the room is, with windows perfectly designed to capture the beautiful view. It’s clearly well-maintained, always clean and fresh. The lounge area is another highlight—so comfortable and light, it makes staying here feel extra relaxing.

I do wish the room had its own shower, but it wasn’t really a big issue since the shared shower room was spotless and fully equipped with everything needed for showering and freshening up afterward.

The Little Graden has a great location near the sea side, which is exactly what we wanted. The massive size of the room made the stay comfortable although we stayed only for 2 nights. What we disliked was the lack of an elevator. The shared bathroom was located on the ground floor while we were on the 1st floor, which is not really convenient. The slippers provided to move around were very uncomfortable, too large constantly slipping off the feet, which could have been at some moments dangerous, especially when walking up and down the stairs.

Loved everything about the Little Garden, including the owner Yoshi! Excellent guy that will set you up with board and wetsuit rental (and decent boards at that). Don't hesitate because it's a little out of the way, that's part of the charm! Amazing views, clean and nice facilities, big rooms - you name it, the Little Garden has it. Support this small business - they are genuinely good people!

Nothing - everything was perfect

The location and the views were spectacular, for such a low cost! I stayed in a twin room with ocean view - it was quiet and comfortable, and the owners were very helpful and kind.

It's a hostel like environment which is good to know, shower downstairs but toilet in the room. This is clear on the posting, so no concerns about it! Just want to make sure others are aware. I liked everything about this stay!

One of the best places I’ve stayed at during my time in Japan! The room is comfortable, the view from the shared kitchen is amazing and the hosts are really nice and helpful. I didn’t have a car but there’s a bus stop nearby with 4-5 busses a day in each direction - so if you wanna visit Aoshima or Udo Jingu it‘s easily accessible from there, even without a car!

No restaurants and Konbini in walking distance, so I recommend to bring some food when staying here.

Fantastic place. Super nice staff, great view, clean, comfy beds, shared kitchen. To travellers without a car: - The inn is located on a hill - There is a coin laundry right across the street - Full kitchen is available for shared use - There is a bus you can take to Aoshima's Iso Beach - Getting to the combini can be annoying because of the bus schedule, so bring food if possible, otherwise you can get some in Aoshima

Very nice location with ocean view (at least from our room). I wish we could have stayed a couple more nights just to enjoy drinking in the room while enjoying the view. Staff was very friendly. I knew there wouldn't be a shower in the room, but was pleasantly surprised that there was a toilet, which I thought would be shared too.

Quaint hotel on elevated grounds overlooking the sea. Comfortable rooms - we had one overlooking the sea and another overlooking the garden. A common dining/breakfast area with spectacular view. Property is clean and comfortable. The roof top offers great vantage to watch the sunrise.

The drive up to the hotel had a couple of tight turns.

The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. The common room was particularly enjoyable, offering a stunning view of the ocean.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the property is situated in a way that makes having your own car essential for exploring the area.
