Wonderful location, close to everywhere in Aoshima. The onsen was delightful, and the breakfast buffet and dinners were delicious and varied for everyones' tastes. Comfy pillows.

Pretty standard, hard Japanese mattress. No towels at the onsen so you have to bring your own from the room. Some lines to get in for breakfast, however hotel was near capacity when we stayed and we still never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes. Definitely go down to put your name for breakfast earlier than your scheduled time if you have plans you need to attend to.

The Route Inn was lovely to stay in for the two nights we were in Aoshima. The breakfast was delicious and varied a lot each day. Staff were welcoming and eager to help and the Onsen was a treat to visit. Also we were very impressed with the manga room! It had quite an extensive collection

A fire alarm sounded at 4am one night which led to us evacuating out from the 9th floor.this wasn't the hotel's fault, but the fire escape was unsafe. The outside floors connected by the steps were very slippery in the rain, which caused a number of guests to slip. Thankfully no serious injuries. Although the staff were very apologetic. Also the mattresses were a bit hard.

I LOVE this hotel. It was my first hotel in Japan so it was a great introduction to Japan. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is an onsen inside the hotel which I LOVED. Do keep in mind that they do not allow individuals with tattoos inside the onsen. The breakfast is Japanese style traditional breakfast where you sit on the floor (you can also sit on a chair if you want to as they are availabe) and the food is wonderful. The room is a little small but I think that is expected seeing as it is Japan but it was great value for money!

the room that we stayed is low in price but maybe because of the window is not in good condition because u cant sleep of the noise of wind blows

Route Inn is my favourite chain hotel because they always have an excellent buffet breakfast and a big shared bath. This one is a 'Grandia', which has an onsen and outdoor bath in place of the usual 'sento' bath, as well as a 'ganbanyoku' hot rock room, reading room with lots of manga and aesthetic salon for massage etc. Great views of the sea (and full moon rising above it when we were there) from the restaurant and the breakfast dining room. Located on a hill a little back from the main beach road, within walking distance of the surf beach.

Some of the bread rolls were not fresh! I think they may have used the previous day's leftovers. This was so disappointing as usually the delicious bread and croissants are the breakfast highlight for me, and this is the first time they have been less than excellent.

Great proximity to Aoshima beach, free parking, comfortable rooms and lots of included amenities! Was not able to use the baths during my stay but it was nice that access, including comfortable clothes to wear around the hotel, were included. Common spaces including library and laundry rooms were clean and spacious

Located on the top on a hill. Parking is available around the facility. The spa is very nice, especially morning time (am 8:30-9:30) when customers are few or none.

You have to remove your shoes before entering the facility, so you need to walk in slippers provided at the entrance. Check-out time and public spa opening time is the same, so at 10:00am we had to wait long time for spa customers to finish entrance before we could check-out the hotel.

The Onsen was amazing, the rooms are rather spacious, launderette is easy to use. Definitely recommend for anyone wishing to stay at Aoshima. Both train stations are about 10 minutes on foot, the lighthouse is about 1.5 km away. Perfect.

I really liked everything about this hotel! I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was for the price! It'll be more fun if you had a car. Public transportation in the area isn't as frequent as other parts of Japan. And it's a completely shoes off hotel. It was so clean too!
