Super clean, comfortable guest house with very lovely proprietors Takeshi and Yumi. Excellent deal for the price. I booked last minute when other plans fell through, and I felt very lucky to stay here. Highly recommend!

Friendly hosts, a great location about a 10 min walk from the train station and incredibly clean. I really enjoyed my Japanese style room. I wish I had stayed longer.

It was a tad noisy as it’s a Japanese house made from wood. Nothing can be done regarding this (I find all places in Japan are not acoustically sound) but my suggestion would be to bring ear plugs.

The owner of the house is so amazing and nice. he’s doing it with his wife and it was really a great Japanese experience.

The warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their guesthouse is not just a place to stay, but a place where you feel genuinely cared for.

Takeshi and his wife, Yumi, are excellent hosts: friendly, helpful, and always accommodating throughout my stay at their guest house, sharing useful information regarding transportation and options in the city. I stayed in the shared male dormitory, which can host up to four guests. While the room can feel a bit tight at full capacity, this is quite common for Japanese homes and properties, so it was not an issue. What stood out to me most was the exceptional cleanliness of all the shared facilities. Everything was spotless and well maintained, which made my stay very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this guest house. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Only one shower is available, so it can get crowded when the guest house is full. For me, this was a good reason to visit a sento or onsen and enjoy more of the local culture.

The hosts were super friendly and recommended me nice things like: where to go for breakfast or nice travel destinations which are not too crowded. I really felt welcome. Thank you!

I stayed 5 days in this property and it truly felt like home. I loved the fact that the owner would go to of his way to help me organise my outings, figure out the trains and also suggestions for the Scuba diving in Okinawa. The facilities were really clean, and there are many options to go out for food and shopping. It is a bit far from main town but very well connected. I personally did not mind the commute because it truly felt like coming back to my home, where it is a mini haven. If I ever go back to Osaka I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

more storage/ shelving in the female dorms would helps as it can get crammed with a full room, with bags etc.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect for backpackers needing a place to stay the night. Everything you could need is available and the staff are lovely with good recommendations for what to do around Osaka and for that time of the year. I was recommended some tranquil places to see the sakura that were less known which was amazing. They both can somewhat speak English, conversations are very easy to get across. There is a convenience store and small supermarket within a 3 minute walk as well as a train station within 5. The area is not super close to central Osaka however a 15 minute train ride over two lines will get you to Osaka station. I had zero troubles and would highly recommend for a comfortable and easy stay over a few days.

There wasn’t much to not like. It was very well priced for what was received and I was very happy.
