There is an excellent Izakaya called 'New Ozeki' a few doors down. Also the apartment is conveniently located next to a JR station.
It was dirty, full of peeling laminate and broken furniture, and generally grotty. Although they advertised free Wi-Fi, on arrival it stated that you weren't allowed to download or stream. Pretty much a dump (and I should know having lived in the former Soviet Union when I was younger).
