The location was perfect and so close to skiing. The onsen was an incredible touch, and it was such a beautiful building. All in all, we had a phenomenal experience and would definitely stay there again.

- The accommodation has a proper drying room for snowboard/ski gear - The rooms are spacious - The breakfast was great (and the staff kindly adjusted our breakfast to our dietary restrictions)

Basic hotel but very good location near the ski slopes and good breakfast. Tatami room was reasonably large and comfy for 3 people.

The common toilets could definitely do with a refresher!

Satoshi the owner occupier was exceptional. He could not do enough to help, and the included Brekky was four courses everyday and the best I have had in a ski resort, including far more expensive ones then here.

The location is great. Only a short walk to the ski fields. The place is a bit run down but has character. Views from the dining room were amazing. We only booked 2 nights as an extension to our stay in Madarao, and this place had availability. A lot of availability, actually. Only 2 other groups staying there which was good. Japanese style room was a bit of a shock for my two princess teenage daughters 😃. Where's the beds? The communal bath was warm and clean.. The guy running the place was very helpful and friendly.

The place has seen better days and lacked warmth. Our family room was warm and clean, though. Floors were squeaky, which could have been a noise problem had there been a lot of people staying there. Common bathrooms are old and in need of updating.
