Strategically located along Prefecture Route No.91 - not on the most well travelled road but very close with major shopping spots, public services and sightseeing attractions within a stone throw away. Very friendly for solo traveller and small group in long distance bicycle touring setting, as travellers have to park their bicycle outside the entrance of the hostel - there’s CCTV surveillance at the parking space 7/24/365

It’s not on the ground floor, and travellers on long distance bicycle touring have to take the bicycle and luggage in a lift/elevator to the hostel. It was a pain to take my bicycle (Velo Orange Neutrino), my Tailfin AP20 Rack Pack and Mini Pannier to 2/F!

It was a very spacious place with a kitchen and living room, and a great location in Nago. If you need parking, be sure to reserve a spot in advance, although there are other lots nearby. The other guests seemed friendly, and the staff was also nice. The female dormitory was comfortable with just four beds. I also appreciated that they had a laundry facility available.

I think the bathroom slippers smelled a bit weird. I didn’t like that the upstairs bathroom was attached to a shower unit, so the slipper and floor tends to be wet.

my second time staying at all friends. first was in 2019, and it was a no brainer to come again, this time i came with my partner and we stayed in the comfort room, it was lovely with a closet, vanity, small table, and balcony. the laundry is the best i have experienced in japan, and there is a dryer too! you pay 200y for wash and 300y for dry which are great prices actually because you can fit a good bit in the machines. you can spend time in the common room which is large, has some fun DVDs and books, and a kitchen, and some instruments. there is a gas stove!! enough equipment, and a fridge and pantry area. spices and oil and soy sauce and mirin are free, as well as coffee and tea! lots of brochures with information of stuff to do, a beach nearby to swim, a shrine with stray cats and hermit crabs, and much much more! i love this place even more after this trip, we met many good friends here and it is just such a nice place, very clean and spacious. the staff is very friendly and you can check your luggage before checking in nago is a great location to access other parts of the island.

1 thing, very specific, but we were in okinawa during an alert of a missile launch from north korea. it was night time and there was no staff and only 3 of us in the hostel and we were pretty scared and didnt know what to do. we turned on the news and translated the japanese, and after 10 minutes it ended up being a false alarm, but i recommend to have a paper easily accesible that gives information on this stuff. as well as what to do case specific for tsunami or earthquake. for foreigners we have no idea what to best do especially when alone! also the bikes might need to be renewed :p (there is a hubcycle closeby though i would recommend)

Really cool place, the atmosphere is very nice and warm, the kitchen huge and functional. The female dorm was large (decent storage space !) and confortable, with single beds instead of bunk beds which I really appreciated. Staff was also very nice and friendly !

A part of the female dorm wall is (I believe, literally) paper-thin, so if like me you stay there at the same time as a very loud group it can get frustrating

The place is quite big and laid back. If you are off season you might have it almost to your own, except from the people working there. The dormitory was very quiet for that reason as well. I can't complain about the equipment, cleanliness and convenience of the place! The staff and owner were nice. The location is close to the town hall. I took a few busses but mostly walked. Nago is a bit spread out and a car would have been nice, but I was able to see the main attractions and enjoy my stay.

I have that problem almost everywhere, but the bed is a bit too short in length for me (and not open at the end). If you are a solo traveler, the place might be a bit lonely, maybe there are more people if you don't go in winter!

Wooden floor and tatami mats made a constant noise even when I stepped quietly. I was worried about disturbing the people who were still resting.

the house is really big, there are 4 beds in the female dorm, i was with another roommate on the first night and alone on the second night. the blanket is very comfy. there is a female shower room. shampoo, body wash and conditioner are provided for free, there is free towels too. no toothbrush

i didn't see the staff at all and didn't know that it is all self-check in. so remember to check your email one day before checking in. they will send you the passcode for the main door and also the passcode for the locker which contains your keys. money is placed in an envolpe and drop into a locked locker. Please bring exact amount of money as there is not change, and card is not accepted (i didnt see staff for the 2 night stays). you can to figure out where things are yourself. the hair drying was located in the washing machine area. The house is very big and sometimes need to source for the light switch here and there. Bicycle has to be parked outside level 2, but the lift was very small and it was very hard for me to transport the bicycle( and i had a small velo)

This is a really cozy place to stay. I felt like I was in a beautiful home with the big full kitchen, lounge area with high ceilings and the room was very big with a balcony. It was very quiet here and an enjoyable stay. It's close to things in the north of Okinawa island which is great. There is parking (additional cost), it can be a bit confisung to find with the one way streets so make sure to read the details sent before hand. It's also self check-in which was very easy. It is located on the second floor (no elevator), so keep that in mind. Otherwise, great cozy stay!

Only one bathroom upstairs. Which was locked for some reason the first night.

I felt in that place love and harmony. Despite it being simple but it had a soul. The presence of the reception during the day has made it more homely.

The synthetic Bed linen wasn't the best choice in such a sub-tropical climate. I would have preferred cotton instead.
