The owner was so lovely and accommodating! On the morning we arrived, my friend got badly injured and had to go to the hospital. We were able to coordinate with the owner to check in early so my friend would be able to rest after seeing a doctor. She was really kind and assisted us in every way she could to make our stay comfortable - we really appreciated it!

Japanese style accommodation in a great location with easy communication and a nice space. Would happily stay here again.

Cold when we arrived, but heaters are strong and quickly fixed that.

Quiet house, close to the city centre and the train station (Minami-Otaru). There're also bus stops and nice restaurants/ cafés in the vicinity. I stayed for three nights and never saw the host, but communication was easy.

It was hot in the house and very hot in my bedroom with no AC. There was an electric fan in the bedroom.

We loved our stay at Guest House Ringo, the host was great with communication and the location was terrific. The only thing that might bother some people if you happen to be there in a heatwave, is that there is only a fan, no air conditioning in the rooms. We had a good stay and would rebook next time we visit!

The house had everything we needed. Having access to the kitchen to cook was great. The parking space was also very handy.
