I was looking for a budget place to stay since my trip to Sapporo was spontaneous and found this hostel. Although at the time I booked it was a bit pricey - it was around January and the dates I booked coincided with the snow festival so the price is understandable. I stayed at the 4pax female room and got the upper bed. The room is spacious for four people plus luggages. There's even a couch inside the room. The bed is ok but it's a bit challenging to climb up & down. There's a toilet just outside the room so it's convenient especially at night. The shower room is downstairs and it's clean and well kept. Towels and slippers are available. I like how easy the check in and check out was. It's also near a park which you can pass as you walk to the subway station.

The room smelled like shoes because guests shoes were kept inside. It would be nice to have a shoe rack outside or a room spray/freshener just to neutralize the odor.

Very affordable price. Very friendly and helpful owners. I cannot express how much help I have received from them. I have experienced three guesthouse/hostels during my stay in Sapporo, all of them are great, but this one is the most impressive one. How come I didn't find this one on Booking at the beginning, it is such a pity that I didn't stay here a bit longer.

I have nothing to complain. maybe a suggestion to the owners to rise the price? As I think the service I have received was more than what I have paid😂

Great place to stay in Sapporo. A 1km walk to central Sapporo and the Station. Easy access to Metro, tram to the city and access to sights. The friendly Ozzie owner has been in Japan for 30 years and advises on Hokkaido nightlife and tourist sites. A bar and living room to socialize in. Breakfast and food menu on request. Comfortable beds and dorms, and clean modern showers. A washing machine to do your own laundry.

The hostel is a family business, and the owners and their son were all exceptionally kind and helpful, and offered a great recommendation of where to go for dinner. The place has an excellent vibe, and everything is very clean. Heavily recommend.

The sleeping arrangements are bunk beds with curtains, instead of capsules, allowing some light to spill out.

Great little hostel, right near a subway line and beautiful park. Friendly owner. The female dorm was small but comfy and had a good lock system, so you felt totally safe.

There was a common area outside the female dorm and there didn't seem to be a 'quiet time' policy, so people would be taking calls there past midnight. Location is also a bit out of the centre, so there's not loads of food places nearby but v near a subway to get to the centre

Been an amazing stay, didn’t expect the hostel to be so clean, in a great location & sooo comfortable! The owner Nathan will always go above & beyond to make sure you’re having the best stay. Really comfy & well setup socializing area with a little bar & some food available & breakfast! He cook delicious food with a lot of attention to details. Insane coffee, as good or even better than what you’d expect to find in Australia The mattresses are super comfortable (the best I had in Japan) & all the amities are kept clean & functional. Bonus if you get to meet the doggos, that was the cherry on top of the cake!!

An absolutely fantastic place to stay in Saporro! Just enough away from the craziness of the busy districts to have a really peaceful vibe, but close enough to get wherever you wanna go easily. Nathan and Zane who run the place are pretty much the best. So kind, cool and chill. They made my stay here fantastic. I’m a solo traveler on bicycle and it was really easy to get in and out of here and I loved my rest days at this hip and relaxed place. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend—and they’ve got a communal guitar in the very cool chillout room/bar area!

The owner Nathan and his family are super lovely and have created a very welcoming atmosphere. It's clean, beds are very comfortable and there is good social space downstairs for hanging out. Overall a very social place with lots of international visitors which was great as a solo traveller. Pretty close to the subway as well so easy enough to get into town and walkable if necessary.

Nothing much. Maybe the shared room gets a little crowded with 4 peoples stuff, but it's manageable.

I booked a one night stay in a female-only dorm so I could see the Sapporo fireworks festival. The dorm was very clean, the bed was very comfy, and I slept really well. All the facilities were modern, clean and easy to use, and check-in was smooth. The lady checking me in was very lovely and friendly, and they have a dog who I met in the reception area which was very cute. The location was perfect for the fireworks, and the hostel is very quiet and peaceful as it's located in a suburban area near the park.

The beds were super comfortable and I was impressed that the bathroom and common area were stocked with almost everything needed. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and kind. I have my go to place to stay at when I come back to Sapporo!

For a hostel it was very clean but there is definitely room for improvement on some of the cleaning in the bathroom. Really can’t complain though!
