The house is very well equipped and clean. I was lucky that a group of university students were staying the same night, so I spent the time with them. It was fun

The only downside is that there's no conbini around so you have to take a train to the next station if you want to get some groceries, but not much of a problem since the place is really close to the station. Also there are a few restaurants around if you just want somewhere to eat

Booked the tiny villa with 2 rooms, 1 bath and 1 toilets. Spacious for a family with one young child. The Omi Nakasho train station is 2 minutes walk from the place. JR train will take you straight to Kyoto/Osaka. Host (Wen) is a darling. She picked us up from Hakodateyama Ski Resort when we missed the last bus. She then took us to get something from the supermarket near Omi Imazu train station. Thank you so much! We cycled to Lake Biwa (5min bike ride) in the morning. Lovely morning ride! Would visit again.

We booked a room last minute and the price was amazing so it didn’t take much to make it feel like a great deal. A/C blasted cold and that’s all we cared about. Seems like a very chill guest house vibe with shared kitchen and bath facilities. Very convenient to the train station. The town is sleepy and pretty rural — one great cafe near the lake, and a lovely little pizza place.

The room -- it was a separate room in the annex, and it was the only room in the annex -- in other words, we occupied the whole annex. 2 comfortable bedrooms, private bath and loo. Very cozy and good value indeed.

Everything was OK. One just needs a bit of effort to roll the suitcase from the gate to the house (pebble path).

Beautiful house and nice cozy rooms, the owner of the place is super nice, she even drove me to the store with her car and took me to the nearest city to buy some stuff! It really felt like home and I would recommend this place to anybody staying in the area. Beautiful nature surrounding the place.

As already stated by other guests, the walls are really thin, but while I was staying there my neighbours were all really quiet at night so that wasn't a problem at all. Without a car it's not that easy to reach stores, restaurants etc.

The host was nice. Everything was clean. Towels and some amenities were provided. The house is big and there are places to chill. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to make your own food, just make sure to buy things before you get to the accommodation. There is no convenience stores or supermarkets around.

It's an old Japanese house. So you have to be mindful of the noise level.

Nice Guesthouse! It takes only a few minutes to the Lake Biwa. We were allowed to check in early and the owner even gave us a better Room, because we had lots of luggage with us. It has a very calm and cozy atmosphere. Great!

Surrounding enviroment was good and quite as it is located at rural area. Owner was good in english and chinese which is foreigner friendly. It also very near to Omi Nakasho Station. Just 2 mins walk which very good for travelling around lake biwa.

No convenient store nearby.

The location was great, the staff was also great. I forgot to mention to the staff that I was riding a motorcycle. When I arrived, they cleared a spot with an overhead covering. Never has this ever happened to me in Japan. Most often I just park in the regular parking lot, or stay will tell me there is no motorcycle parking. Thank you so much for this help.

The walls are thin, I could hear a lot of voices from the rooms nearby. The bathrooms were a little dusty, but this was probably because it was at the end of the day.

Staff were super friendly, there is a communal area for relaxing and eating. Super close to a great pizza restaurant (15 min walk). Room is basic, yet very functional, great ac and always good to have a kettle.
