It's located just 2min away from the Shibamata train station. Attached toilet and bathroom in a compact room with all the basic amenities including a mini fridge. The Japanese style futon for sleeping makes it a very Japanese experience. Loved everything about it!

My partner felt claustrophobic because the room was small. Not recommended for people who are claustrophobic or body mass larger than average or height.

This is such a lovely place to stay and I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are lovely and traditional - there is tatami flooring and futon style beds. The photos online don't do it justice, it is much nicer in real life and has Japanese woodblock prints dotted around. I got a loft room and there was plenty of light as it had a velux window and a floor length window. There was also a little bath which was a lovely surprise! You can control the temperature in the room and of the water. There was soap and shampoo provided. There was also a little fridge in the room, and communal microwave and kettle downstairs. The best part of the guesthouse though is the location. It is such a beautiful neighborhood- like something out of a film. The local people are so kind and considerate. There is a beautiful shrine and a historic shopping street less than 5 minutes walk away. The nearest station is also a 2 minute walk and trains into central Tokyo are very cheap from there (£1-2). It is also so quiet and peaceful. I slept so well the whole 8 nights I stayed there. Would highly recommend!

It was not a problem for me, but if you have limited mobility it may not be suitable for you- the shower is over the bath, which is quite high to step over, and there is limited space to mobilise within the bathroom.

Location was excellent, ideal for travelling to or from Tokyo/Japan, as it is situated merely metres from the local train line. Yet the trains cannot be heard. It is situated in a beautifully quiet and very friendly neighbourhood, with shops and restaurants close-by. We Both Loved It.

There was nothing that we didn't like, but ideally it would be a little more spacious. We had enough room, as we were two persons in a room that was labelled Triple. However, this we totally understood, on our last night of 21 in Japan.

Great access to train station, super easy to find. Check in on the iPad was easy, and my room was well equipped. The public area has water (hot and cold) and a microwave which was good for jet lagged guests needing 2 am cup noodles from the 24 hour Lawson next door. The town was charming, and great food was everywhere. Also the WiFi was great at the lodging.

Once I figured out the mini split and the hot water heater everything was fine.

I really liked how close it was to the station just around the corner for all my Tokyo travel needs! Also having Family Mart, 7-Eleven & Lawson all within walking distance is very nice with the abundance of vending machines nearby.

The space felt a little small at first but I also brought extra luggage which is my responsibility to handle and I managed to find a way to sort my items to fit the room comfortably after the first night.

Near to train station. Facilities very convenient with the price. All in all very recommended.

Location a bit far from centre tokyo. But I already aware of this beforehand.

Strategic location, the train station is just right in front of the hotel. Plenty of food nearby the hotel. Bathroom is inside the room. Tatami room just nice for 2 person

Our hotel room is at the second floor, the stairway is very steep and narrow, so carrying our heavy luggage up is a pain in the ass. My wife complained that the bed is smelly and uncomfortable, and making her body itchy.

The room is just nice for a couple to rest for the day after exploring around. Private bathroom, and affordable. Location that is 30 mins away from central Tokyo, making it feel like you're coming home instead of a place to stay. It's also right beside Lawson, which is a huge plus if you need late night snacks or something.

The stay was overall quite good. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet area, which I really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were super easy and straightforward. There were various amenities available downstairs, which added to the convenience. The room was very small, and the futons were a bit thin, but it was still a comfortable enough stay. Nothing fancy, but definitely okay!
