A great place to feel the atmosphere of Japan. Mat on the floor, comfortable mattresses. Clean room, quite big safe. When we needed an extra blanket we got it. We had a room on the ground floor so there were no problems with luggage only after check-out we had to carry it to the first floor. Very close to 7eleven, train station, supermarket (at the train station). Very quiet area. Remember to stick a magnet outside the door by 10 am so that the room is cleaned, and pack towels in a bag that is in the wardrobe to get clean ones.

I appreciate the option of being able to store luggage after check-out. However, I think that the link and code to open should be left in each room, because currently everyone who is inside the hotel is able to know the code and I do not feel that luggage is completely safe. And it would be best if the luggage storage was downstairs, so that you do not have to carry your luggage upstairs (there is no elevator) when you have a room on the ground floor.

The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, the balcony was an addition that gave me more space to relax outside without going actually out on the streets. The manager replying through WhatsApp was very efficient and any issue was solved promptly. Information on how to use things since it was all in Japanese was translated into English in detail, so it was easy to understand I loved my stay and I will definitely go back, being very picky and fussy about details, I found everything matched my expectations 😌

Will definitely stay here again when we're in the Tokyo area. Highly recommend, superb price for value. Fast digital self check-in process. We stayed in D / 3rd floor. Clean & well maintained. Used the heater, worked well. Very comfortable futons! Quiet. Only wished the attached bathroom for our room had a bathtub. Everything else was excellent. They have extra toiletries, umbrellas, & such plus a microwave next to the front desk. We saw coin washing machine(s) altho one might be the dryer, not 100% sure if they are all-in-ones or not. Down the street is the river we watched tugboats & hands down one of our fav sushi restaurants in Japan, we had absolutely delicious lunch specials there & the pair running the shop were amazingly friendly.

Only wished the attached bathroom for our room had a bathtub.

The check-in process was very easy and the futon mattresses were very comfortable. We both slept very well. The bathroom is roomier than most small Japanese hotel rooms. The hotel is a 4-minute walk from Aoto station, and the neighborhood around the station is fantastic, with plenty of small shops and restaurants for whatever you need.

Though a small room is expected in Tokyo, I found that our room didn't utilize the space very well. For instance, the mini-fridge is on the floor and the door opens towards the wall it's up against, not the room. And since there is not very much room, we put our suitcase in front of the fridge and had to move it each time we opening the fridge door. Putting the fridge on a small nightstand would solve this problem. Also, there are only 2 baggage locks, which led to some anxiety about making sure we could store our luggage after check out as planned.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The property is very clean, and the amenities provided were more than enough for our needs. Although there aren't staff members on-site, we were able to easily collect what we needed from the counter, which worked well for us. One of the highlights was the coin laundry, which we tried and it worked perfectly. The location is fantastic, just next door to a Seven Eleven convenience store and close to a supermarket, drug store, and many restaurants – making it very convenient for both dining and shopping. The hotel is also just a short walk from Aoto Station, which is on the JR line. Keep in mind that the Tokyo Metro pass does not cover the JR line, so you'll need to adjust the fare with your IC card (like Suica). Overall, everything was clean and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its location, amenities, and value!

The location of this place is Amazing!! There is a supermarket just outside the station, which is like 3 min away and a 7/11 basically outside. The beds were super comfortable and the room/bathroom were spotless. I would definitely stay again. They offer luggage storage by the stairs with locks, which is very helpful.

The room becomes a bit small when they set up the 3 futtons (2 singles and 1 double) and there was not much space to store our lugagge.. we were 4 people and that was a downside, but still a great place.

We liked the proximity of the station and 7/11 just few steps away. Even though the station is very close you do not hear the train. It was very clean, easy check-in&out.

We slept in room on the 1st floor which had 3 futons. There is basically no room for laguage and the stroller that we had. It was a bit hard to navigate since there was 1 square meter in total where you could stand. Aircon right above head, I personally dont like aircon above pillow, but somobody else probabbly wont mind.

Location was superb

I love this little hotel. It's simple, relaxing & situated in a nice quiet suburb in Tokyo. The futons are so comfortable & it feels much more authentic than any of the other Tokyo hotels I've stayed in. Literally 5 minutes walk from Aoto station & you can get to anywhere in Tokyo. If you want to stay in a Holiday Inn which looks like every other destination on earth, do not stay here. If you want to feel like you're staying in Japan, this is the place for you 😊

Aoto is in a lovely quiet part of Tokyo just a few steps from the station.. so easily accessible to everywhere (including a direct train to Narita). We loved the vibe and decor. Great beds my sons loved them . Onsite washer/drier a great help. Easy pin access and area to lock up bags temporarily. Area felt really safe…I had a wander through cute little streets to the ‘Thai massage’ (as opposed to the ‘’Lana Thai) ..sooo good and affordable)
