The most thoughtful and kind staff we've met in Japan yet. The room had the most comfy beds and high quality, eco friendly amenities, and a amazing view of Yamanashi and Mount Fuji. The hotel is very charming and has an ample public bath with many shower heads and the best massage machine I've ever used (¥100 each 5 min). If you plan to visit the nearby Hottarakashi onsen, the staff will kindly lend you towels and schedule a taxi (it cost around ¥3000 the round trip). My husband and I stayed for only one night, but we wish we'd stayed at least 3 nights to enjoy more of Fruits Park. Will definitely come back!!

To be perfect, I only wish the bathroom had mixer taps! Also, if you can't drive in Japan and must rely on public transportation, please be aware that the bus to and from Yamanashishi Station only comes 3 times per day.

Each room has a view of the Kofu Basin, Mt fuji. Mesmerising view of the city after sundown, made me sit there and gaze upon the landscape. Truly one of the top 3 "new" views of Japan. Onsen has a good view of Mt Fuji, reccomended to go during sunrise or sundown to gaze upon the city. Should have booked with meals as there are minimal places open early in the morning. Free coffee is avaliable in the morning at the front terrace of the hotel, which you could sit and gaze upon the city and sunrise.

We had a wonderful night in Yamanashi prefecture. We booked the hotel as it was our anniversary and we were visiting some vineyards in the area. Being from the UK we did not know what to expect and the view from the hotel terrace of Mount Fuji blew us away. The amazing staff, who were just the most friendly of our 3 week trip, showed us to our room and we had been upgraded to a suite. It was by far the biggest hotel room we have ever stayed in and absolutely huge for a Japanese hotel. The best part was that we got a perfect view of Mount Fuji from our bedroom. A spectacular treat. We ate in the hotel and had a set Japanese meal which was delicious. We practiced our Japanese as all the staff spoke little to no English, but they tried so hard to help us and were amazing. The next morning we had a nice breakfast while watching a film crew make a movie on the terrace. An added bonus. We wished we could have stayed longer and our amazing reception lady even helped us to our car with our massive suitcases. The stay really exemplified Japanese warmth and hospitality. I wish I had taken names so I could mention them personally. We were made to feel so special and it was explained to us that not many British tourists visit them and the region. I can tell you that everyone should explore beyond the main cities, as the wine is great, the countryside splendid and the Fuji views (if you're lucky like we were and got a sunny day) were breathtaking. A true highlight of our trip. Thank you everyone.

Left my phone in the taxi cab, staff was super helpful in calling them about this, and got my phone a while later. Even if they only spoke Japanese and me English, we both spoke using translators/AI so communication was not a big issue. Quality dinner. The best location if you want to see one of the best night views in Japan.

The staff were amazing! Kind and happy to help with everything. My daughter is vegan and they happily accommodated that. The property itself was oldish but really clean. It is quite remote but we had the most amazing views of Mount Fuji. The directions on how to get there on the website were accurate. We would stay again.

Staffs especially the young laday is very helpful and friendly. The morning view of Fuji mountain from our room window is stunning. Also the room is quiet just about 10 minutes by taxi from the station.

The location was amazing, beautiful view of Mt.Fuji from the window, comfortable beds and pillows, nice spacious onsen, staff were extremely helpful and polite.

Nothing particular. I am vegan and sometimes it’s a challenge to get vegan meals. I brought my own food ( there is a fridge in the room) and staff were very kind warm it up for me providing cutlery and napkins.

Beautiful location with a stunning view. The staff were so kind and the rooms are luxurious.

The only downside to this location is that it's quite a hike to the main part of town but the hotel called us a taxi easily.

Extremely spacious room, with great facilities and friendly staff. We got great winery recommendations. Plenty of parking spaces for those that are driving.
