Came here to attend a friend’s wedding and reception, and chose Ibis Chennai OMR as a safe place to stay by myself. The experience was really good, the staff were all very hospitable and friendly, and took care of all my needs. The 24x7 room service was a life saver as my flight reached late and I checked in almost at midnight. Ola and uber come right up to the door, and the security and doormen were very, very courteous. Special thanks to Arpita who came to my room to help me pin and drape my lehenga properly! Felt very taken care of, the buffet breakfast was really good as well with lots of options. Would definitely recommend for solo female travelers, and would stay again for sure!

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Chennai OMR! The hospitality was exceptional, and I want to thank Sheeban for his kind words and smooth check-out process. His warm and professional approach made our experience even more enjoyable. My room was on the 6th floor, offering a beautiful view of the entire Sholinganallur area. It was a delight to wake up to such a scenic sight every day. The room itself was well-maintained, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options that exceeded our expectations. The overall ambiance and service were top-notch, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Chennai!

The breakfast buffet spread was nice. The room service is good, cleanliness and staff were courteous. There was a open space in the restaurant which can be enjoyed for having dinner in open garden.

The games room and pool were in the adjacent building in Novotel. The pool usage charges are extra which was not mentioned while booking. There is no proper couch in the room for sitting. The one which was provided was not at all comfortable to sit. Suggest to make some seating arrangement comfortable in the room.

Throughout our stay, the hotel room consistently upheld impeccable standards of cleanliness and comfort, exemplifying excellence in every aspect. However, the efficacy of the soundproofing was lacking, and the amalgamated beds frequently disassembled, detracting from an otherwise pleasant experience. Moreover, regrettably, instances of cockroach sightings were noted within both the room and the restroom, diminishing the overall satisfaction with the accommodation.

Despite the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel room, the soundproofing is subpar, and the two beds, when combined, tend to disassemble easily. Additionally, there have been sightings of cockroaches both in the room and in the toilet facilities.

The rooms exude comfort and coziness, offering a delightful view of the cityscape. Thoughtful placement of sockets facilitates convenient charging, while a well-positioned chair caters to productive work sessions. Additionally, all basic amenities are provided seamlessly, contributing to an overall exceptional experience.

Upon checking into the room, I noted with disappointment that the cleanliness of the toilet was questionable, prompting me to request additional amenities. Furthermore, the water kettle provided was completely unusable, evidently having been misused for cooking by a previous guest. Upon notifying the room service attendant, I requested a replacement, emphasizing the need for cleanliness and functionality. It became apparent that the staff responsible for cleaning and maintenance were not upholding the expected standards. To ensure consistency and improvement, it is imperative for the establishment to implement supervisory oversight to monitor room routines and enhance overall quality control measures.

It was normal room with ac..Staff was cooperative.. though we had to ask for facilities. In booking.com they dont mention that ibis people have to pay to use the swimming pool in Novotel. That is a misleading.. the photos of the pool which is in Novotel

Staff is good and very helpful everywhere. Location is on main road so easy to get cabs and travel to city. Overall decent hotel at good prices.

Rooms are small for 2 people. Meant for 1 person ideally. Cannot take delivery orders to room, have to walk outside to collect each time. Sometimes housekeeping are knocking the door at night with wrong orders meant for other rooms.

We did like the accomodation. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull.

In the room there was a paper sign you could put on the bed when you would want the sheets to be cleaned/changed. However, every day the sheets had been changed, even though I did not put the paper sign on the bed. Moreover, usually your towels would be changed when you leave them on the floor, but my towels were changed every day, even though I would have liked to reuse them. This is a waste of energy and resources and has a negative effect on the environment.

Breakfast spread was excellent. Indian breakfast was very good and quick service. Western counter was good too. Loved it. The staff and cooks were very responsive. The seating arrangement could be slightly better during peak period but we were okay.

Nah! I believe the it's value for money hotel and no complains per say given short business trip. if you can arrange for shuttles for near by offices, it'd be great.
