Great breakfast, very very clean room and common areas. Smooth checkin and friendly team.

The soundproofing (windows) could use some work Nimitz HWY and the H1 are immediately adjacent to the hotel. If you stay, bring some white noise with you. The hotel did NOT mention that shuttle service begins at 5AM which doesn't work for the first two rounds of flights for the day out of HNL. I had to split a cab with another guest (Best Western owner in for the BW convention) and we agreed this was not a very useful benefit.

First of all thank you for providing breakfast every morning and the airport shuttle that saved money.Also the staff was very friendly and accommodating and they checked us in 3 hrs early that was very nice. Breakast was great so much food and a variety every morning. I didn't care for the eggs but I enjoyed the rest. Got my coffee fix every morning so I was happy with waffles and fruit. Not a lot of hotels that i have checked out provides full breakfast so this was very nice and delicious and thank you again for providing breakfast for your guest much appreciated. Also in front of the hotel there is a bus route which I used bus 42 took us straight to The Ala Moana Blvd.which takes approx 42min Where there is lots of shopping and a park across the street and the beach. Also Charlie's Taxi is always available at the hotel and Hello Cab we used which takes about 20min to go into Waikiki. The hotel has a coffee and pastry shop also in the morning which is nice. Keep in mind if you don't like lots of noise request a room not facing the freeway because it's noisy 24/7. I stayed in the court yard near the pool and it was quieter. McDonalds is right next door. You will see homeless people in the back outside but the hotel is gated going in so that's nice and there was not an issue. The shuttle was a great option that the hotel provided to and from the airport not alit if hotels provide free shuttle keep that in mind so thank you Best Western for providing that as well. Waikiki shops and beach like I said was about 20min away but using Uber and the taxies do also have flat rates tell them where you want to go and how much. It was 4 of us and the price was from $35 to $40 total about $10 each way not bad since the hotel price was way way way cheaper than staying in Waikiki Best Western was worth it and utilize the outside transportation. The Swapmeat at the stadium is not that far from the hotel opens on Sat, Sunday, and Wed.

Eggs but that's no big deal. The other options was great. The freeway was noisy but I looked at the reviews before booking and read that and requested a quiet courtyard view so that was ok

Best Western The Plaza has reasonable rates in the whole island. Upon checking-in, the staff greeted us and made is feel welcome. I can say that almost everyone of the staffs are courteous and engaging. There are couple of fast food chains in the area. Very near the airport and Pearl Harbor. If you plan to travel the whole island and planning to get a rental car, i say this hotel is a good place to stay.

Just the noise coming from the vehicles. This hotel sits right next to the freeway. It's about 50 minutes bus ride to Waikiki (or 20min drive) and such no shopping stalls.

The hotel itself is great and, most importantly, quiet. Despite being in a strange corner, between 2 elevated highways and the airport, you'll certainly have a good night sleep.

The breakfast is not food. It's some sort of FDA-approved chemical food equivalent, served on plastic plates, eaten with plastic cutlery. I know that this is roughly the standard in the US, but this one is really bad. I'm almost willing to bet that this is some sort of NASA experiment to see if they could feed an upcoming Mars colony without any access to fresh produce. Let me repeat it - none of the food (save for the sliced oranges) is actually food.

Very close to airport. The coffee shop on site was very good. Also liked the grab and go breakfast option from 6-7am before breakfast was open. I had to leave early for work 2 out of the 3 days so that helped. It was just a water, apple and granola bar but I don't eat much in the morning so it was good for me.

It was very loud. It was hard to sleep through the night with the traffic and planes taking off. And also you could hear your neighbors very easily. The walls were very thin. I could hear whole conversations and there was a baby nearby that cried and it sounded like they were right outside my door. Because this is in more of an industrial area just be aware there really aren't places to walk to for food. Just a couple options. Finally, I could have sworn when I booked it said free parking which is why I booked there but when I arrived it was $42 a night. That is typical Honolulu prices but I wasnt expecting it. I was able to get a discount by signing up for their rewards program but that only applies to the first stay you use that at a best Western

Very convenient to the airport, free airport shuttle, helpful staff, rooms were comfortable. I don't know why people complain about the neighborhood. It's not in a fancy resort area, but it's fine for a layover between flights. I would stay here again.

two-story motel style rooms bordering the swimming pool courtyard on three sides. No elevators to the second floor, so those with mobility impairments would need to be on the first floor. Staff will help with luggage upon request. I fortunately did not have a problem with the stairs, but my only problem with this was there are no signs at the foot of each set of stairs designating which rooms are served. I'm 74 years old and lugged my heavy suitcases up the wrong stairs. Also the hotel is right next to the elevated highway, so bring ear plugs for sleeping.

Despite reading about rooms being noisy in regards to traffic, we had a lovely quiet room facing the pool. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. We had to leave very early in the morning, so unfortunately we missed out on our breakfast. They do provide 'grab and go' breakfast bags at 6am, which is an excellent idea. However we had to leave at 5 am, to our disappointment. We loved the free airport shuttle service and the close proximity to the airport.

The air conditioner was quite noisy, so we didn't use it whilst we slept. Only to cool down the room in the evening.

We stayed here twice. The first time was for a few days taking a bus into Honolulu and the second time was after visiting a couple of the other islands. Having a shuttle bus to get to and from the airport was a great help. The toiletries were very nice. Breakfast was good.

During the busy time of year the large dining room wasn't big enough and on the last day there was a queue of about 8 people waiting to make waffles at the closing time. Perhaps breakfast time could be 3 hours rather than just 2 during the busy times. Each time we were there one of the elevators was out of order. From our 12th floor accommodation it took 11 minutes to get downstairs, so we only just managed to catch the shuttle for our flight, even though we tried to be early for the bus.

It was fine. We booked it close to airport as we had a an early flight. We called and the shuttle came to pick us up right away from the airport. Also the next morning the shuttle driver took us early before 5am which was very kind of him.

Well the free breakfast didn't help us because our flight was so early. A couple of muffins and some coffee in the lobby for people like us who had an early start would've been welcome.

We were on the bottom floor close to the pool and lounging chairs. This was great as we came and went about our day and tours. It was very handy having breakfast there at the best western the plaza , because it saved us worrying about the first meal of the day .

Well the ranch slider was very hard to slid open on the pool side of the bed room ,Buggered tracks . Also there was only bacon once a week. And too much of the same scramble egg, rice, and what ever else that regularly showed up. No baked beans or spigetti . I did wonder what came first , the overhead highway or the hotel. Maybe you could shed some light on that for me ? There is a lovely lady in the breakfast bar very smiling and very nice . And we liked Micheal on the counter we hope he grows into his position there , nice guy.
