Location was perfect. The beach is right outside and there's a Starbucks right across the beach access alley thing. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Loved the full kitchen set-up. If I had been there longer, I totally would have gotten more food to make on my own. But it worked perfect to order extra takeout and do leftovers. Also the rain shower was amazing.

Bed was a little hard. It was super clean, but needed some updating. Also, the bedroom outlets were a little inaccessible. Only other issue is the noise. I was on the 1st floor and my room's windows looked out on a little beach access road. I could hear the people outside, I could hear the people above me, and I could sometimes hear people in the hall if they were being super noisy. It wasn't enough for me to be super annoyed, but if someone is sound sensitive, it could be an issue.

Excellent location right on the beach front; affordable, long term parking close by (front desk staff organizes it); kitchenette in the room (we cooked all our meals); rooftop patio with great ocean / beach view with lounge chairs, cushioned bench, and a gas BBQ grill / sink. There is also a guest laundry in the basement and beach towels/chairs/toys to use for free. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff (especially Danielle, who is a dream).

If you can, make sure to get a room on a higher floor, with ocean view or partial ocean view. Otherwise, you will be looking out on empty parking lots/garbage cans. Also, they still use small, single use shampoo / conditioner/ body wash bottles which could be modernized.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to a full ocean view room on the third floor (we booked the first floor partial ocean view studio). We arrived early in the morning and they let us in our room hours before the official check in time which was much appreciated. Excellent location right at the boardwalk, and a beautiful rooftop. The kitchen in the room is great.

No cons for the hotel itself. It is worth being aware there are quite a lot of homeless people on the boardwalk/around the hotel, which means it can get a little loud during the night sometimes (screaming etc.). We expected this due to the location and previous reviews, and it did not bother us.

Great location if visiting Venice Beach and Santa Monica, and is the best location to stay in Los Angeles to avoid the city sprawl. The apartment was clean and had a good basic kitchen area. Beds were quite comfortable.

The photos of the room on the website, suggested they were much bigger, brighter and more modern than they were. This slightly reduced satisfaction when considering value for money. The staff were pleasant enough, but you had to work hard to make them crack a smile from beneath their uber cool veneer.

We got an upgrade and got a studio with total view of the ocean. I cannot in words describe how wonderful that was. I have never stayed in a hotel with a better view. The studio also had a kitchen and table with chairs. Staff was Amazing and rooftoop area aswell. So nice. We borrowed towels and beach chairs from the reception. Thank you!!!

Wierd smell in stairway. Unfortunately a lot of homeless people in the area which was heartbreaking to see all the time.

What can I say - an absolutely perfect place to stay when on Venice Beach - great check in, Room (107) - and weirdly this was the 2nd time we have been here and the 2nd time we have stayed in room 107! Room very well appointed, just as we remember, the bed is really comfortable, great kitchen area, huge bathroom (suitable for disabled). Great position for exploring Venice Beach, Venice Canals, Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey - all within walking distance! Very close to Main Street Santa Monica where there are great eateries!

Perfect position. In front of one of the best beach in the world. The rooftop is amazing; you can see a beautiful sunset or just take a nap after lunch. Venice beach is fancy, eclectic, multiethnic and noisy ( and very expensive!); you gotta see it and you will never forget it!

Our room was not well sound -isolated; during the day it was normal to hear the music from coming from Venice beach and, during the night, you could hear guests entering the Hotel. If you are looking for a quiet place maybe you have to look elsewhere, but if you enjoy LA vibe, you definitely gotta come here!

You can't beat the location of this little Gem! On the boardwalk and three skips to the sand. Yes the rooms are small, but they give you the charm of the district with real exposed brick and breezes of the Pacific ocean. I would be remiss if I didn't applaud the generous hospitality of the staff. Danielle, in particular, exemplified the attention, personality, and professionalism that soothes the souls of weary travelers. Thank you Danielle for making Venice Breeze Suites our home away from home.

They need new pillows and a better TV system.

Fantastic location as you’re in the heart of Venice Beach (which of course comes with the noise and bustle). The suite was very spacious and would also be suitable for a longer stay. The staff were all extremely friendly and were more than happy to mind our luggage all day from checkout until we left for the airport that night.

The location is perfect to: 1) feel Venice vibes 2) enjoy people walking, jogging, skating… 3) walk to the beach. The suites are really beautiful inside. There are cameras everywhere and personnel at the front desk 24h, so we felt safe. There are available for free beach chairs, sun umbrella, towels.

There is no overnight parking available at the property, but there is day parking in a garage just in front of the suites. We found overnight parking just few blocks away.
