Central location to main market for food & drinks (night music) + few around. Night market by Mekong River is a 3 km away. Excellent tour company attached under Roberto's guidance and management who wrote a book on Wat Phu in English and Italian. Fantastic and helpful team work indeed! Helpful front desk staff who managed a quiet and bigger twin room. Good breakfast with choices.

Roof top garden food and drink prices on "high end"; happy hour with discount only from 5-6 pm daily. But it offers the best sunset view in city though!

Really nice comfortable bed with lots of pillows and space. Nice towels and room was cleaned and replenished everyday. Staff were friendly . Really good breakfast with fresh eggs to order. Welcomed with welcome drink and cold towel which was nice after travelling all night.

Rooftop bar was not open and we weren’t informed until we tried to go up ourselves. Air con in the room was not in the best location.

Had a great room on 5th floor. I spent a lot of time there in the aircon (very hot outside) enjoying the lovely view sunrise to sunset across to the river and hills. Big picture windows have effective blackout curtains for the morning. Rooftop 'Panorama' restaurant is a good place for a sunset, but the service is often slow so I usually ate at one of the restaurants close by, particularly the excellent Korean one across the street. The time I arranged room service arrived fast though. Good location on a quiet street close to a clothes/ fruit/ general/market, money changer, on airport side of town. Tour desk downstairs gave good advice and arranged a motorbike rental- there's secure parking around the back for overnight. Amazingly the room had a bathtub with enough hot water to actually enjoy a soak after a day out on the motorbike :)

We had a super comfortable stay. The hotel was centrally located, had a great retro 60s style that we appreciated, and our room was very spacious and comfortable with a huge and comfortable bed. We had a great view out over the city and river. We loved the rooftop bar/restaurant as a way to unwind over sunset at the end of each day.

Great location, great breakfast, great deluxe bedrooms that are quite spacious, looking out the front of the hotel. The feel of the nearby area is very atmospheric with a French influence in the architecture.

The economy rooms have a window looking onto the corridor and the curtains have to be drawn for privacy, so not good, they are also small.

The location was good, 2 minute walk to the bus station for the night buses, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean but floors a bit dusty. we used it as a base to explore the area from. nice rooftop bar/restaurant overlooking the city. staff were friendly and always happy to help. we arrived on the night bus and they managed to check us in at 9 am at no extra cost, on check out they allowed us to leave our bags behind reception until our night bus onwards.

breakfast wasn’t very good, it’s a big mixed buffet selection of local/western however most of it was stale and not good. (plenty of other cafe nearby)

Booking in/out was quick and easy, the room facilities were everything that we'd hoped for. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent bathroom and shower.

Food in rooftop restaurant was poor - we've been in Laos almost 2 months and this was the worst meal we had to date. Restaurant massively overpriced for the poor quality of food.

Fantastic rooftop which was great for watching the sunset and good food too. Superior rooms facing outside are nice

The economy rooms are dark as face into the corridor. Bad plumbing in the bathroom and breakfast wasn't very good

We liked the buffet breakfast, the tour booking agent located on the hotel verandah, the view from the rooftop restaurant and the easy walk to the river and local market

The bed was tucked into a alcove in the room which made it hard to get into and out of bed.

For my 2nd stay at the hotel during the week after a 5-day tour in the area to visit Boloven, 4000 Islands and Champassak, I was happy to be upgraded. The room was more pleasant than the basic one in terms of space and view. Thank you. The breakfast is perfect in terms of choice, service and quality. The top-roof restaurant is pleasant and offers a good choice and a good service.
