The hotel was just what we wanted right on the Mullerthall trail. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a very large balcony which was a bonus as the weather was hot. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, both hot and cold options, fresh fruit etc., The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately there were a lot of flies not just at the hotel but the whole area, probably to due with the warm, humid weather. Also because it was hot and the room had no air conditioning we slept with the windows open so there was often noise from the bar below. However none of this put us off, we loved our stay and would certainly stay at the Trail Inn again.

A lovely location that I was only too briefly staying at. I didn't even realize how close it was to so many trails! Genuinely you can walk to them but you're still in the center of a town. If only I had been there longer - the restaurant and patio out front was absolutely packed and the food looked incredible. It was such a good vibe and it made me wish I wasn't just stopping for a night on my road trip. There was also parking very easy to find - even though the lot next to them was full, I drove a minute down the road and found a large free lot very easily.

Good breakfast, plenty of choice and variety. Excellent location for B2 walking trail. Buses free and excellent service. We went to Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg and Vianden Castle on the bus. Food in the restaurant good and because they serve food all day, from 11.30am, it was possible to book a table anytime we fancied. Our room had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the cool of the evening.

The bathroom was very snug

Convenient location beside the local bus stops and a short walk to a grocery store - and local cheese 24/7 vending machine!! Peaceful countryside setting close to spectacular trails and other small towns. Lots of choice for breakfast. Large, comfortable room with a view of cows in the field. Great to have a lively restaurant and patio on site. Friendly, helpful staff.

No laundry facilities

Easy to find in the centre of a small village. The staff speak good English and are very knowledgable of the local area. Great location to explore “Little Switzerland”. Rooms are very large, comfortable, clean and well appointed. The food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced. Breakfast is included in the price and is also excellent.

Limited car parking at the hotel. The hotel does own an additional car park nearby. Luckily we took the last spot in the adjacent car park

This hotel is right on the Mullerthal trail, so location is great. We had a family room and really liked it. The attached bar/restaurant is really good with a wide choice of affordable meals and local drinks, perfect for hikers.

Airco would have been nice mid summer. The rooms were on the small side, but as we just spent the 1 night there it didn't really bother us.

The room was very big, it had a balcony/terrace area which was nice. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was good, and the food in the restaurant was amazing! The hotel is close to the Mullerthal hiking route, which was perfect for us.

The bathroom was very small. It is a bit on the expensive side for what you get. We went to the restaurant for dinner, and although the food and service was really good, we had to wait a very long time for them to bring the food.

The hotel was a great place and in a really beautiful area. It gave us good access to the places we were planning to go to and the space was comfy. Really great place for people who love nature and being outside! The hotel was just down the road from some beautiful scenery which was stunning.

We arrived on a Tuesday and the kitchen was closed for that day. We were recommended a place down but every place suggested was closed. We ended up finding a place (Bistro Martbusch) to eat which was amazing, but we were lucky we didn't go without a meal! A heads-up would have been appreciated.

Good, clean, modern hotel with excellent facilities. The restaurant is great and the bathroom in the rooms was very modern with a good, comfortable shower. The staff was very friendly!

We visited during warm weather and our rooms were very warm. We had to ventilate them during the night, inviting in all the light and noise from the busy street and terrace underneath. I can imagine this is only an issue during warm weather!

Historic building nicely furnished comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower pressure. Excellent location in town & area. Very friendly and helpful staff (Stefanie) Excellent restaurant/bar Reasonably priced

No complaints I stayed here last October & returned this August.
