Overall experience is not matching a 5-star hotel - there are a lot of improvements needed, from stuff communication, food selection, spa availability etc.

The view of this hotel is fenomenal, staff is very polite, breakfast is amasing and the spa is great. Hotel is a bit far from the center of Ohrid, but it is named in the Hotel review.

There was no coffee machine or no bottle with hot water with coffee in the room, I think hotel with this price and 5 star should have.

The hotel is perfectly located at the lake coast and enjoys the fascinating lake view. I think it’s, definitely, reasonable to take lake view rooms. And the staff is just top friendly and willing to help. But I annoy say that we liked the facilities a lot - maybe, because it was an off-season period: the restaurant is not very cosy: no soft lighting, only big tables, table linen - not ironed(( Food is ok, but we wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner. breakfast was quite poor. Sauna was cold, and just like water in the pool: just ok for active swimming (but the pool is too small for that) and too cold to stay in the jacuzzi. I think it whole not be like this even in off-season. No body dream in the room, which is a total must for a 5* hotel. So, generally, I would say that this hotel has it’s advantages, but is, definitely, not a standard 5*.

Everything was perfect

The property is located right by the lake and the view is wonderful. However it turns out to be a bit far from the center of town. This was not so much of a problem as we enjoy walking and the promenade is very nice and the area safe to walk even after dark. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated that we were able to charge our electric car. On the negative side, the food was not nice and we both suffered from an indigestion. The breakfast buffet was very basic and the coffee tasted like the instant coffee type. The bar didn't offer any cocktails as we were apparently outside the cocktail season. The indoor pool was filled with kids having fun and making a lot of noise, which is not a picture one imagines when thinking of a relaxing spa hotel. The sauna provided a wonderful view of the lake but the steam bath was not operational. We resorted to the gym, which was well equipped and offered an alternative activity. The room was nice and clean but the heating system was very noisy. The wall between the rooms is not sound proof and one could hear the neighbors conversing in a loud voice until 1:45 in the morning. We would have liked to leave the door to the balcony open to enjoy the fresh air but due to the noise from the neighboring balcony this was not possible. Maybe the place is rather meant for families with kids and not if you are looking for a quiet place.
