Fantastic location in Ohrid's old town - a block away from the lake. Check in was easy - I had informed reception of my arrival time and as it fell during reception hours, Vlatko was at reception to give me the key to the apartment. The apartment was up a flight of stairs and I would have been OK to carry my bag but it was carried up for me. The apartment was so clean, modern, well-kept, well-decorated. It was so spacious with a balcony, living room with a very comfortable sofa, large TV, dining table and quirky lighting fixtures, bathroom with a rain shower, kitchen area, and bedroom with good storage and another TV. Breakfast was not included in my stay but that was not a problem as there are nearby grocery stores and I could prepare a warm/cold breakfast in the apartment. Communication was good via booking.com and what's app with Vlatko who speaks good English. He also helped arrange a taxi for me to get to the bus station on my last day. Check in out was easy - I just had to leave the key in the room.

I wish I could have stayed longer as it was such a lovely apartment.

Rooms were amazing, staff were welcoming and friendly. Very clean and had everything that we needed. Property has a great location right in the middle of the old town.

The property’s location is great in itself although this has nothing to do with the property, the parking barriers for the old town was a nightmare and very confusing. However the owner was great at dealing with any problems that occurred.

The location is perfect, the rooms are lovely with so much character and Vlatko is an amazing host. Ohrid has so much to offer and is just a short walk from Villa Pupin which is located on one of the historic streets. Lot’s of lovely restaurants very close too. The location at night is perfect as it was quiet outside and the beds very comfortable.

There really isn’t anything I can write here as the stay was perfect. If I had to be really picky, maybe some sugar to go with the nice coffee supplied that I sat on the terrace drinking in the morning, but I’m sure if I had asked I would have been given some, so really my fault!

Absolutely excellent! I changed my travel plans and arrived in Ohrid a day early so booked Villa Pupin Saraiste last minute and I’m so pleased I did! Fantastic location, clean rooms, excellent communication via WhatsApp from the host and the hotel has its own wine cave which is complimentary for guests - a real highlight!! I enjoyed my stay here so much, I came back here for another 2 nights rather than staying in the original accommodation I’d booked. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing few days in beautiful Ohrid.

I was very fortunate to be upgraded to the apartment with a balcony on my first night, which was fantastic. When I returned to the hotel, I was in the attic room which has sloping ceilings. This wasn’t a problem for me at 5ft1, but I imagine for a taller guest, it might feel a bit claustrophobic.

The villa is located in the old city town, very close to all touristic objectives in the area. - great location - the apartment is modern with living room, kitchen and bedroom, including smart tv in both rooms. - the kitchen is also modern with lots of storage spaces - the apartment was clean and situated in a quit area.

- the kitchen cuttles were not that clean - at the bathroom the robinet for tap water was up side down (when it was supposed to be closed, the water was running and vice versa) But these small details did not bother us, we really enjoyed our stay at the villa.

Location was perfect in the old town but away from the hectic news with the waterside a 2 minute walk. Clever room layout and use of space - we stayed in the attic room (note- it's very easy to knock your head due to the slanting roof line if not careful). The winery (a shared lounge) is definitely worth hanging out in.

There was no air-conditioning in the room, I'd imagine it could get really hot in the peak summer months. We kept the attic window open for airflow at night.

Everything was perfect, but let's start in order: Apartment - everything is new, clean, modern. The bed is very comfortable. The apartment is built in the rocks, which gives it a special charm. There is a special winary room where you sit in the rocks, like in some fancy cave - great feeling. Location - the very center of the old town. The old town is the most beautiful part of Ohrid and from here you can reach everywhere in 5 minutes on foot. And last but not least, our host Vlatko - Vlatko is the kindest man in the world, a man who gave our stay a special charm, a kind, smiling, always available and very pleasant man, he helped us with everything we asked him, of course with a smile. If we come to Ohrid again, there is no doubt where we will stay again. A perfect experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this villa for anyone seeking a charming and well-maintained retreat.

Superb location, right in the heart of the old town but not noisy like some of the other accommodation lower down the hill. Beautifully decorated rooms and bathroom, all very obviously recently renovated to a high standard. The hosts were particularly friendly and helpful - letting us check in early and store out stuff there. The wine cellar/cave is so cool too! Really great value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend/stay again.
