Really lovely new hotel with excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Owner and staff were welcoming and very friendly. Rooms clean and modern with comfy beds. We had a lake view with balcony and sun beds which was wonderful. The triple glazing made sure no noise was heard from the road. Free safe in the room and excellent air con unit. Never swam in the pool as the lake is so close, clean and pleasant. Breakfast was a good selection. An improvement would be to have tea and coffee served at breakfast as the coffee machine was not that enjoyable. The hotel was a €25 or £20 ride from the airport, and just 600 Macedonian Den to go into Ohrid on an evening. They take all three currency’s but we found the local one more cost effective (we got it changed at the airport). Always agree a price before getting a ride!

Hotel close to the lake (you just need to cross the street) with access to the beach and sunbeds (included). The hotel also provides towels for the pool/beach. Very relaxing at the beach, not too many people (end of August). Perfect for a stay when you are by car and when you want to be a bit further away from the busy center. Staff was very friendly and helpful, 1 time we missed some towels after making up the room but we were helped immediately so maybe a bit of patience needed but the helpfulness and kindness of the reception makes definitely up for it!

Restaurant service is rather slow, if you are very hungry or in a hurry this might not be the best option.

This hotel is an absolute gem! It’s very new and has been done out really nicely (modern, fresh, clean). The reception staff were extremely kind and up for a chat which was nice, and the breakfast was good. It overlooks a little beach which is pretty much private with some piers to jump off into the lake. The hotel was still undergoing some renovations but when the spa/pool is finished this will be amazing!

The road outside has cars going quite fast but this didn’t bother us much.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. the staff, the rooms, the shower facilities, the balcony, the view etc... The location could not have been any better. When we arrived the owner invited us into the restaurant for a drink (we had Rakija and wine). When I went to pay for the drinks he told us they were 'on the house' and wouldn't accept payment for them. I have stayed in many hotels around Ohrid, but this is by far the best. Free coffee and a selection of teas available all day in the restaurant. The hotel was filled with tasteful and new furniture and a nice selection of art. The owner and staff couldn't of done any more for us. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

That I stayed in other hotels previously and not this one!!!

The hotel is near Ohrid city and it is in front of the Ohrid see. The installation and the furniture are new and have a very good quality. The people were very helpful and gave us all the information needed. The pool im hotel is nice but the lake is much more beautiful. The food at the restaurant was very good and the breakfast had many options. I heard the hotel is being changed and the spa will be working soon. I hope I have the opportunity to come back and see it.

The sunbeds at the lake could be improved. The area at the lake has a lot of potential, but it needs to be taken care of and cleaned up. The breakfast is very good, but it would be good if the eggs could be kept warmth im some way.

Lovely new hotel, right across the road from the fabulous pebble lakeside beach with free sun beds and parasols for hotel residents. There’s a little beach bar too for snacks and drinks with comfortable and shady seating. Food in restaurant was very good quality although I would have liked to see more traditional Macedonian food on the menu. I ate there every evening because without a car it’s tricky to find other places to eat but as the food was good and my stay short it was perfect for me. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I had a spotlessly clean lake view room and the lake is simply stunning. I would highly recommend this lovely small hotel.

We get beautiful large room with whirlpool with view on nice small beach, could be little bit more maintained, but it is still ok. Breakfast was ok, found there practically everything we need, just maybe our son is missing some pancakes. Very nice refreshing pool. The staff is really helpful and attentive.

I was once a bit dissapointed with hotel restaurant as the served meat was dried to bone, but I think they´ll improve it. Also there are busy road in front of a hotel, so you have to be careful, when leaving for a beach.

Staying in this hotel was a wonderful experience for us. From the beginning, we were welcomed by the pleasant host with a coffee and breakfast offered for free while we were waiting for the room to be ready. We got the room two hours in advance and they did an upgrade of the room without us asking for it. We got a lovely room overlooking the lake with a balcony. The room was cleaned every day and was super clean. From the marvelous location to waking up with a lake view, watching the sunset from a balcony to the lovely lake color, and swimming in the lake 200m across the hotel. Lovely music on the premises of the hotel, and fresh tasty breakfast in the morning while resting your eyes overlooking the lake. We couldn't ask for more. The restaurant had a nice kitchen where we had our lunch and the staff was very friendly. Such an experience and an example of warm Ohrid hospitality. From now on this will be our go-to location when we are headed to Ohrid.

Recently renovated property, modern design. Nice pool and lake access across street. Friendly and helpful staff.

We felt that breakfast was a bit limited - not many cereals, only one yogurt, 2-3 kinds of fruit. To be fair, there was a reasonable selection of other foods, but they did not appeal to us. Avoid the coffee from the machine at the buffet at all costs, instead ask staff to make a real coffee (one morning it was free, the other morning we had to pay).

We stayed at the Lago hotel for one night for a visit to the beautiful Ohrid lake. The hotel is located a few kilometers outside of the city of Ohrid which makes it perfect if you want a quiet stay. We had a room with lakeside view, which gives an amazing view during sunset. The staff members of the hotel are very friendly and are at your service throughout the whole day. The facilities are perfect and from the pool of the hotel you have a great view on the lake.  The breakfast which is included in the price is good. I would gladly recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Ohrid.
