I had a wonderful stay at Coucher de Soleil. The place is clean and situated at an excellent location. The view from the terrace is very beautiful, particularly in the morning. The best past was the professionalism and kindness of the manager, Sébastien, who made my stay very pleasant and comfortable. He was a superb host, giving information and support whenever needed.

-3min walk to main street with bars -quiet setting with a lot of greenery -friendly staff and helpful owner (english speaking) who helped me to plan my trip -very good wifi If you expect luxury it is not place for you, if quiet place to chill close to main street it is great place

Very nice place managed by Joaline and Didier who also speaks German. Walking distance to main street. Very nice and proactive hosts with nice garden in which I have seen several hummingbirds. Lemongrass grows in the garden hence I enjoyed a pot of 'citronnelle' every morning. Surprised that the mosquitos did not sting me probably due to the aromatic candles lit every night. There is a mosquito net for the bed but front door and windows are not protected. Probably best price quality deal.

To get there you need to walk a very steep way so nothing for the handicapped. Like several other guest houses they are built on a very steep hill so one hardly finds even ground. While there was a solar powered water heater on the roof, I had to enjoy the cold but refreshing shower.There is a mosquito net for the bed but front door and windows are not protected.

Nice breakfast with beautiful view. Location is close to enough to the main strip with restaurants/bars etc. (a 5 min or less walk) but far enough away to not be disturbed by the noise. It was perfectly situated

Very good value for money. Calm.. turtles all over the place. As I am not fluent in french and the owners (Malagasy/Swiss) assisted me in many many things. They take care of their guests. Absolutely recommended.

Great accomodation for the price, good location, the staff so friendly and helpful

Its kind of okay, not expensive. (writing this review on behalf of my staff who stayed there, and I stayed at another property very nearby)

I was given to understand that breakfast was included in the price, but surprised that they charged me later. Maybe I misunderstood ?
