Amazing location at the end of the beach, close to the restaurants and services but also quiet and tranquil. The bungalows were lovely with great views across the bay. Staff were so warm and friendly, always working with a genuine smile and would do anything to help or make your day better! Incredible value for money.

One of the tour companies the hotel is partnered with wanted to charge an extortionate amount for ‘stolen’ equipment, and the staff at the reception were not overly helpful with this situation. Fluffier towels would have been appreciated, as well as some slightly brighter lighting in the bungalows to check dark areas for cleaning.

Outstandingly beautiful location and view over Ambatoloaka Beach (quiet end), gorgeous infinity pool and lovely garden/forest setting with bungalows. The restaurant serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

No air-conditioning means that on hot, humid nights it can be a bit hard to sleep. Room size a bit small - especially the two-level duplex bungalows are cramped upstairs and literally nowhere to store clothes or luggage. They overcharge for services like transfers and tours - you can book these elsewhere for much lower prices.

The location is fantastic, the restaurant of a good quality and the staff were all super helpful. The manager in particular went out of her way to ensure our stay was super comfortable. The lodge was the most beautiful we stayed at on the whole island and the infinity pool was a definite highlight. We ended up extending our stay in the lodge by an extra two days.

Like all properties on Nosy Be the wifi could be a little iffy at times. We had the pleasure of staying in three different room types during our stay and whilst they were all great the basic bungalows do have an issue with mosquitos.

- nice location with an amazing view - comfortable rooms, especially the once in front of the beach - restaurant of the hotel is just something what needs a special attention and credits - food is just amazing there. The best dinners I had in Madagascar were in L'heure Bleue! Also, breakfast are special with the golden ast gekkos coming to join you - that melt my heart complitely on the very first day of my stay. - hotel staff was very friendly and supportive

...a very beautiful bungalow complex on the edge of Madirokely Bay. We booked the bungalow with sea view and were thrilled by the tranquillity, the view of the sea and the sunset. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant - whether it was the maid or the waiter. Excellent breakfast with service, unfortunately no room service. The restaurant serves snacks all day and good lunch and/or dinner a la carte -Outliers up or down are possible! The dishes change daily, but are partly repeated after about a week. If you don't want to, you don't have to leave the small complex and you won't miss anything!

...well, in the hot season, air conditioning could be an advantage. Watching TV occasionally - especially when there are football championships - would not be bad either. The ways to the village or to the restaurants are during the day on foot along the beach - at night taxis or TukTuks are recommended. The internet connection is slightly limited in the whole complex - unsuitable for working. The long drinks are only ok, not great!

Absolutely amazing place. More like a boutique hotel which is always my preference rather than big resorts. Food was great at the restaurant actually the best I’ve had in almost 2 weeks holiday. Breakfast was so tasty, everything was fresh and prepared to order with choice of eggs or pancakes. Booked the deluxe suite which was a dream and I don’t think the pics here don’t do any justice cause it’s far better that what looks like. So much attention to detail decor wise, lovely bed sheets, furniture etc. Can’t forget the amazing staff, specially Ismael, Fanya and the lovely Edith.

I guess the only issues were weak or no Wi-Fi signal and above all not having had a hot shower during the entire stay as they use solar panels and water was not even lukewarm. Had some staff over to check but it wasn’t fixed sadly. Another point was that the pillows were not great at all and not in line with the standard of the bedroom, facilities. If you read the reviews what makes the score drop is basically wifi or hot water so it’d be nice if they could sort that out. The place is definitely great.

The personnel was the best we have had in 3 weeks of madagascar. Some became even friends for after shift drinks! Thanks especially to Albertino, Aubin, Evadam, Clarise and Ismael. It's a really great hotel with good food and nice rooms.

It's a pity there is such a big price difference between the luxury cottages and the normal ones. Also the hotel is faced to the East, so there is no afternoon/evening sun. Most importantly, we recommend that they remove the recommendations for the diving facility "FOREVER DIVE" at the reception. We went diving for 4 days with them, as experienced divers that dived in different countries and it was thr worst diving experience ever, with a very unsafe, rude owner. They are not directly connected to this hotel, but we recommend the hotel to not recommend this facility.

Charming wait staff in the restaurant, always quick with a smile and a laugh, particularly kind with our kids. The deluxe, sea-view room was spacious and had a jaw-dropping view

The family duplex bungalow where we first stayed also had a great view with more tree cover but was extremely cramped for a family of four and people should be prepared that it's very rustic in construction.

Edith and Kevin were super helpful at reception. Each of them helped me solve a problem quickly. They went above and beyond. Clarice was darling at breakfast. She was cheerful and talkative. She took pictures of me feeding the tortoises. Ismael was a super waiter too!

There were mosquitos and noises. There’s a beach party Sunday nights and dogs park.
