the restaurant is nice. the staff very helpful and friendly. nice service. nice area. close to the city market.

we booked three rooms (we were a group of 5) some time ahaed. the rooms they allocated for us were all in different buildings. we expected to have three rooms in the same building if not same floor. not a big issue as we stayed one night anyway. I think that if you ask beforehand they will accomodate any request as possible. it is a really well run hotel!

Really lovely room - although up a lot of stairs so some people would have found this difficult. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The food in the restaurant was amazing and would go just for this! Had a really great stay - as always

I had a late check out and they said that this was fine with a charge. However, when I came to pay the day rate was more then what I had paid for the full room on booking.com. Although they did change this, it is worth just checking prices before agreeing

La Ribaudière is always so amazing! This is my third time over the last 7 years to visit Madagascar and stay in La Ribaudière. The staff is always very helpful, the food is always very good and the price is always right. Americans visiting Antananarivo, this is a must! They speak great english and are willing to arrange money exchange.

Very good restaurant. My second time in the property and got a much better room, comfortable and modern but across the road. So you need to exit the hotel to regain your room

Very bad internet in general. The need to cross the road through a dark passage to enter the room was uncomfortable and unsafe. Impossible to stay in the room, even paying extra, until later provident that the flight was leaving late at night. They keep our luggage but not the room

The staff here is amazing! They are always smiling and super helpful. I was planning my trip there and wasn’t sure how to get from a to b and they called different places and persons to help me out. I had 3 stop overs in Tana and I always came back. The food is also great! But yes, the staff made my visit there!

Breakfast was really terrible and very expensive 😩 coffee not good But..... Lunch and dinner are very good......!! Nice restaurant area in garden And SAM, the guide has a wealth of knowledge ....Nice man

The staff is always very friendly and the food is amazing! Lunch and dinner are great and breakfast is standard but there are many nearby places to go if you would like nicer baked goods or such in the morning. They also have a cat in the patio that WILL take ownership of your lap and it is delightful. The staff always come over and check if you need help removing him if you don't want a cat in your space.

The other part of the group complained that their rooms didn't have curtains, so the light from the street was going directly to their rooms,

Staff is very kind and always try to help customers. The restaurant is very nice but the breakfast is so so.

Booking.com recommended to upgrade to the room with toilet but of course there was toilet, shower and safety box in my room. Room was small and a little bit noisy by water tank in front of my room but it is budget room.

Very nice and helpful staff, nice decorated rooms with hot water. We explicitly asked for a quiet room and could change our reservation last minute. Although the rooms are not really good insulated, it was very quiet (the window was in the backyard and the next room was only next to the bathroom, overall people seemed to be avoid too much noise). We spent two great nights and enjoyed also the breakfast. The smell of the jasmine flowers is wonderful…

The infrastructure needs some renovation but everything was still working and we had what we needed.
