- staff were extremely friendly and helpful - breakfast buffet had enough variety - ample parking space - buggy service provided by hotel to go to the club house that’s further away

- cleanliness of room and bathroom. (Didn’t look like was cleaned properly) - tabletops were still stained and sticky - Shower area had hair and dried up dirt on the floor.

I loved everything there..food staff and clean environment.

Water park ..I were told the water were not clean as it were school holidays and left me with bad allergic.

secluded and privacy, not so far from city centre. has kitchenette in room but empty, need to bring ur own plate & cutlery just like other hotels breakfast is nice & widespread many choices of activities (survival park, atv, go kart, flying fox, golf, boat, animal island, kayak) but requires additional fees (discount voucher for inhouse guest). survival park is worth of ur time, my sedentary children spend nearly three hours inside here and enjoying their outdoor activities. riverine water park just nearby, shuttle available or can just walk its walking distance. nice not crowded. its closed at 6pm during public holiday.

riverine hotel & golf resort is a different building, the good thing is hotel provide shuttle. not much facilities in the riverine hotel (swimming pool & games room only). snooker, karaoke & spa are in the gold resort. Hassle to travel just for spa which is in the gold resort not in the hotel since crowded during CNY (many waiting for shuttle). otherwise staff is friendly and able to resolve problem of leakage from our bathroom ceiling in the middle of the night. not many restaurant nearby need to travel out of pulau carey.

We have to wait 1.5hours to get our food,end up we decide to have dinner outside the hotel..such a wasting time!

We stayed in the newly built hotel overlooking the beautiful river and the water park. Check in and out was smooth and the staff are friendly. The room is so spacious and it comes with a pantry. Great for family with kids. The water park and the animal farm was the highlight of the trip. It’s great that the hotel has an arcade and kids ride at night to keep them entertained. The snack bar was great too with lots of ice cream choices.

Rent control is needed for the room cause there’s a lot of ants when there’s food at the pantry. I wish there’s more activities for the family. Maybe a nature boat ride at the big river.

The Concept that the hotel provides self contained entertainment with survival and water parks within walking distance.

Failure to execute the concept for it to actually works. Location is remote and access to nearby town will require half hour driving at least. The location is quite isolated but not much going on apart from the theme parks during the day for visitors to stay put and busy themselves at night. The room is quite confusing, it’s a mix between hotel room, airB&B and a homestay. No clear identity. No cutlery, just cups and drinking glasses. Basic electric stove will do wonders for family room. Pool policy not enforced, some visitors got into the water with their tshirt on, no proper swimming attire and nobody cares. I can see some kids dispose their nasal fluid right into the pool.

The breakfast ( the omelette is especially great. Perfectly soft creamy inside) . Great variety and the food actually taste great. They even served tomyam for breakfast which is fantastic. Taste good too. Very satisfied with their breakfast spread.

The breakfast buffet was so good—there were many varieties of food. However, if you choose an ala carte menu, it will take some time to prepare. There are few attractions offered, the hotel offers a buggy for you to travel to the attractions places free of charge.

The in-house pool's water is a bit cloudy. I hope the hotel can do something to improve.

Big, spacious, comfortable bed, near to water park, smooth check in and out, good breakfast

Dont know the function of having many guys at the lobby, they’re not very helpful, only come to help when we asked them to. Most of the time they just sit at the lobby in groups playing with their phone and talking among themselves. Maybe their job scope is not to help the guest, probably just do maintenance, if thats the case then they should be placed somewhere hidden. But the girls at the front desk are very attentive and friendly.

Ample parking. Reasonable prices for the attractions and parks. Best coconut water!

This is my second time coming back to Amverton. And coincidence I got the same room - 625. Since my last visit in March, there’s some improvements. But do keep on keeping up the maintenance. Room feels dusty, there were used tissue papers underneath the balcony curtain and under the beds, the foul smell from the kitchen sink is still there, and please do something about the flies in the restaurant. Maintenance for the survival park is needed as there aren’t much attractions and some were broken. Have more pet animals in the animal island - as it is more expensive than the survival park. Other than that, all good.
