The motel is situated at a busy main road ..just near the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. Bus stop and taxi stand located in front of the motel. You can walk to nearby eateries including McD and Subway in 6min. Shops, 7Eleven, DIY also in 6min, Night market and Ferringhi Walk in 10min. By bus (101/102), Entopia and ESCAPE is just 16min away. Veranda@ smoking corner full of plants warmly welcomed me. The owners@ uncle and aunty were nice, friendly and very accommodating during my stay. Even upgraded my room for free. My room was clean, well lighted, standard basic budget size room with window. Comfy bed and clean bathroom.Water dispenser is at the front desk with free complimentary coffee or tea. Overall, good people, great location, comfy bed and well-rested.

I would highly recommend this accomodation! As soon as we arrived the hosts showed genuine care in ensuring we have a comfortable stay. Location is fantastic, you can walk to everything - beaches, food, main tourist markets etc. The rooms were simple, but everything you need. Shower water was hot with strong pressure. Common facilities also helped make our stay comfortable! But mostly, the hosts quickly made us feel at home. It is great value for money. Thank you hosts for your hospitality!

It's not a negative, but a tip - we realised our room got sandy pretty quickly because we were going to the beach so often. So you can ask for room service if that happens!

It is so true about the friendliness of their motel staffs. They welcome you and very helpful and friendly and they don't disturb you while your staying in their motel. It is value for money you pay. It is a comfortable room to sleep and clean.

We were provided with a small size for 2 person and very thin layer of blanket/duvet. But we did asked from the motel staffs for a thicker blanket and they provided us with immediately

Fantastic hospitality, .....it's so true what others say about the wonderful hospitality that the staff have at the Rasa Motel. Very very obliging staff who went out of their way to help travellers. As previously mentioned by other reviewers, it felt like I was staying at a friends place.

We were pleasantly surprised to have found this property. Exceed my expectation. As travelers with a 4-year-old, cleanliness & parking are our top priorities, and this place definitely met our expectations. Plus I have a sensitive nose, I easily noticed bad smell. But during our stay, the place has very pleasent smell. Our little one truly enjoyed the stay as well. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Ferringhi Beach, with a supermarket right next door. An Arabic restaurant will also be opening just in front of the motel, which makes it even more convenient. We would definitely return for another stay! Also I like the owners. They are very friendly and love to smile.

The room was clean enough but very little furniture, one chair and one little table. The location was perfect, with a bus stop in front of the motel. There was a night market, restaurants around... it was good. Also there is a big shopping shop just near the motel, where you can buy everything you need. The receptionists were friendly and nice. very gentle, helpful all the time.

First of all there is not enough hangers in the room, there is only one chair, not enough, other than a chair there is nothing to put your bag, your luggage on. The table is really small. You are not allowed to use the kitchen, you have to ask for a plate, for a fork or ask a favor to boil your eggs. I was expecting to use the kitchen and make my breakfast here myself. The toilet, the sink and the shower place are all in the same space, a little bit wierd. There is no toilet paper, the pipe near the toilet had no tap.

Excellent and generous host. Gave us a room upgrade at no additional cost. Information about local transportation provided All staff were kind Perfect location, map on arrival helpful. Air condition sufficient Social area outside was good. Able to dry clothes outside

Shower was a bit odd but functional. That is a common feature of S.E Asia though

The hosts were superb. The accommodation was very clean and is maintained very well. Location superb and host showed us a map on arrival of key places to go. We saw the beautiful sunsets and the Long Beach food market was a 5 minute walk. We used the local bus to Georgetown and it cost under £1 for the 2 of us. No frills and fancies but excellent value for money and with the added lovely hosts I would highly recommend the motel.

Nothing bad and not a complaint, but we could see monkeys from our room but had to have window open as glass opaque. Clear glass would have been great.

Lovey friendly staff . Located in strategic area for beach, night market and numerous eateries. Ideal for solo travelers on a budget. Free tea , coffee and water in reception. Beautiful seating area . Little convenience store right next door .
