Breakfast spread was super excellent; plenty of variety and all taste great. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Aircond can be controlled, 23 degree was already very cold. Soap and shampoo are provided through a dispensers, so it prevents wastage. Water dispenser is also provided outside, cold, hot and room temperature, making it unnecessary to provide bottled water in the room. If you are a foodie, come and enjoy the breakfast. It's excellent!

Bathroom design could have been better, floor drain was positioned right below the showerhead, which means, when you shower, your feet will be covering the floor drain, so water would be flooding the bathroom floor. With the strong water pressure, it means this water cannot go through the floor drain unless you turn off the showerhead and step out of the bathroom. Also, there is no shelves to put any of your own toiletries in the bathroom. Study lamp is provided by the table, but it's low volt yellow light, not good enough for work/reading if you are travelling for work. Requested for bright white light (only need to change bulb) but it's not available.

The view of the mountain range from my floor to ceiling window is breathtaking. The well appointed room is large and very comfortable. Every amenity you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is provided for. Bathroom is spacious and the toiletries special - lemon and verbena shower gel and mint shampoo. Breakfast spread is huge and varied. The hotel lobby is welcoming and smells very very nice. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It suits my need and everything was beyond my expectation

The location is out of the busy congested small Ipoh town, staff was very attentive and the buffet bfast was quite acceptable Room rate was good compared to the other branded hotels in Ipoh

Property is located slightly out of the town center, in a small space next to the main road thus limited parking space You’ll have to trouble the staff to open the side gate if u can’t find any parking. Room was clean well enough but they need to do better about the toilet. It was not cleaned well, you can see unscrubbed dirt on the toilet tiles and on the glass

I had a fantastic stay at Travelodge Hotel Ipoh. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the food variety was somewhat limited, the quality was excellent, and I found most dishes to be delicious. The standout feature for me was the self-service laundry facility, which was highly convenient and added a practical touch to the stay. It’s a great option for travelers looking for comfort, good service, and useful amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

Got a great service there. They had all facilities like hair dryers, iron, toothbrush, paste, cotton bud everything you need you will get there. They don’t provide water bottles but they have water filters in each floor and I like that. The view was stunning the room had lot of space of a family of 3-4. All the tourist attractions were so near of the hotel. They also provided free crib for my 5 month old baby. I am happy because I felt so relaxing there

There was no sijadah in the room so if you are muslim better to carry your own sijadah.

Did not have breakfast so no comments. Location was not far from the places I had in mind. The rooms were a comfortable size The beds were comfortable Staff were polite and efficient with special requests met. Shower closet was well planned so the rest of the bathroom was maintained dry.

The bathroom could have had a larger vanity top for putting toiletries. No hand towels.

The room was clean and big with 2 queen size beds and a separate sitting room. There was enough space for 3 big suitcases and room to walk around. Coffee from the coffer maker was strong. Shelves were thoughtfully provided to store our food items. The separate sitting room with a connecting door was a good idea. Early risers can have their breakfast there without disturbing those who were still sleeping. The toilet was also big and well equipped. Water pressure was strong. The hotel is located in a quiet area. View from the room was great. We can see the greenery and distant mountains. The spa in the hotel provides good and value for money services.

There was no dustbin in the sitting room, have to walk to the toilet to dispose rubbish. Since the hotel is located a distance from the city centre, a small convenience store would be ideal. As it is, there is already a cafe, gym, spa and luxury watch and jewellery shop in the premises.

Location is great, 5 mins drive to Ipoh Parade. Front desk guy who checked us in was very professional. There is a nice artisan coffee place in the lobby. Abit pricey but otherwise nice experience. The rooms were very comfortable and large, and the beds were also comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. Cleaning was good as well and had plenty of amenities to use if needed.

Going out of the parking basement was very tight and we had a regular 7 seater car. Also there is no lift from the basement parking to the lobby so we had to bring our heavy luggage up the parking slope which would be quite dangerous. The drainage from the tub in the Family Room drained quite slow. Also would prefer if there was a separate standing shower from the bathtub for safety reasons. We didn't use the pool but the pool was on the first floor near the outdoor parking which is not usual.

The breakfast at Travelodge Hotel, Ipoh was absolutely delicious! A wide variety of choices — from flavorful local dishes like nasi lemak and mee goreng, to tasty Western options. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. It’s definitely worth booking the room with breakfast included. A perfect start to the day — highly recommended!

Parking was quite limited and a bit difficult to find, especially during peak hours. Hope the hotel can improve this.

We chose this hotel because of a wedding event next door. Really surprised with how great it was given the price we paid. Room was excellent, plus point for me was the availability of power points on both sides of the bed area; which is very rare to find in hotel rooms these days. Love the minimally clean decor, good shower pressure. The water dispenser for the floor is very much welcomed. What surprised me really was the price of the breakgast buffet. For the quality of the spread (kudos on the wholemeal bread option), the price is super affordable. Keep up the great quality and never drop off at all, hope to stay here again soon.
