Impiana Group is quite famous in Malaysia; they have a bigger hotel in Kuala Lumpur too. As far as the hotel in Ipoh is concerned, it may look a bit old and outdated at the beginning, but you'll start loving it after the initial indifference. The best part is the size of the rooms, which are quite big. We booked a family room, and it was very spacious. There are lot of options in the breakfast, a bread counter, a noodles counter, a salad counter, a roti counter, and rice, mee, and so on. Spring rolls and some starters were also there.

There was only one lift operational out of three lifts. The swimming pool was closed. This is due to renovation work going on. The view is now blocked due to a building being built. A deposit of 100 RM for possible damage was insulting. We never experienced such practices and we had our share of world travel. Electrical switches malfunctioned, the water basin got clogged, a chair broke, and there were other such issues with old furniture. However, the serviceman repaired it even at midnight.

This hotel preserves their things well No croissants in breakfast 🥲 but other foods was great Im ok with parking at the basement but should get a lift to access there..kinda difficult because i bring stroller and begs but no lift to get into the lobby. Pool in renovation 🥲

The buffet was awesome, both breakfast and dinner. The staff Rizal was extremely courteous and helpful. And as for breakfast, your roti canai chef is definitely a keeper. My family loved the roti canai. Keep up!!

Pls ensure that technicians check on the switches. My room had problems with the switches. Secondly, there were only electrical points on one side of the bed (which was not on my side 😓). So I couldnt charge my phone. I know that itnis shared parking with the UMNO building, but please do work with them to ensure proper lighting at the basement parking ( quite dim + scary). It gives out creepy vibes. But overall, everything is ok.

Parking. I felt my patronage wasn't acknowledged seeing I had an injury. The insult comes seeing that I have been a loyal and repeat guest. Will definitely be moving my business to a much educated facility. Very appreciative of Mr Aran who attended to my request and executed the request in a very professional manner. He deserves an applause. A model employee. A great team member and a great example to his team. Leadership by example..Tq Aran.

Staff always great. Stayed many times over 10 years. Staff remember you ..good continuity. New owners spending some $ to freshen it up. Management met with me robdidcuss the problems of road and construction noise . If course construction finishes one day.. but they accepted my comments about sound attenuation.. and will work on it.

If you are a sensitive sleeper, ask for a room away from the traffic .

Excellent Room 1.Large King bed 2.Very supple and comfortable pillow 3.Everything included like toothbrush, sewing kit, refrigerator, hair dryer and iron board 4.The breakfast are awesome for the price paid 5.The coffee house has some of the cheapest menu in Malaysia all at RM17 including a drink and a dessert of the day.

The location is good, easy access to town centre etc, room is very spacious with king sized bed, Although facing the main road, traffic sound is very minimal. Can't talk about food as ate out. Good toiletries and towel provided.

The only hotel I have seen that does not prioritise nor ensure guest have proper parking. Hotel was full and basement parking cordoned off for umno members, sorry do they meet everyday that they need so many bays blocked off permanently whilst guests, paying guests struggle to find parking inside the basement which is poorly lit and poorly maintained with puddles of water and debris lying around. Parking outside bays your subjected to summons from majlis bandaraya perak especially on week days and The lifts in the nain Lobby also poorly maintained. Extreme left lift the numbers are not visible, no 8 looks like a 2. Very confusing. Hotel claims parking in basement is safe, yet I did not feel safe in a poorly lit basement parking.

The hotel has been around for a while but it looks refurbished. Parking is easy. Check in & out is fast even during holiday weekends. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They went out their way to help us when we were looking for a missing item that we accidently dropped at the lobby area. The staff also took their time to chat with us esp at the lobby door. The room is spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room and toilet is clean.

I wish the breakfast spread has more varieties of western and local cuisine. We were in level 9 and the water pressure was quite low so it takes longer to shower.

Hotel's location is very strategic. This because all best place is easily can access from the hotel. Parking hotel also quite satisfied because have a lot whether at the basement or in front of the hotel.

Open pool for children section. So that children can enjoy swim at pool instead of join to adult pool. Need adult to always watch their kids and become not so enjoying. Overall is good by the way. Just keep this things to be improve.
