The hotel looks modern and very clean. Interior finishing is awesome and elegant. Overall the room is perfect for two and Nice. The shower water pressure is superb, excellent hot water and with full utility. The hotel underground car park is guarded and safe. The breakfast is very tasty with lot of varieties of Asian and Western food. The environment on food serving area is simply calm and beautiful. The staff at recipient and cafeteria is humble and polite. There is nearby Chinese restaurant with nice Chinese food which located within waking distance less than 100 meter.

Nothing to say overall the stay is prefect and nice.

Location. It was pretty close to good food, especially all of the Tau Fu Fah shops and Ipoh Parade. The buffet breakfast was good too if you don't mind a Malaysian breakfast e.g. half boiled eggs and toast, nasi lemak, curry laksa, soy milk etc. It was quiet and had a really nice view of the mountains from our room. There was also a free courtesy shuttle to the train station, which was great for us as we had 3 big suitcases with us.

The hotel should consider having shampoo and conditioner as 2 separate things rather than a 2 in 1 mixture that doesn't really condition your hair. As we were near the mall though, it was an easy fix.

Interior design of the room and the common areas e.g. lobby, seating area at every floor - aesthetically pleasing, warm and cosy ambience Front desk service- the receptionists are young, so they are earnest, cheerful and in particular, patient with any questions I had. They are warm and very delightful to talk to. I enjoyed the small chats with them. I can see that there is good working relationship. They are happy, so they make the guests happy. Shuttle service - driver was helpful, very pleasant to talk to, and has good work attitude, the van was kept clean

Perhaps there could be more thorough check of small details e.g The water flow into the cistern was slow and so I had to wait a while for the water to fill up after one flush.

This is a really nice hotel and very good value for money.The bedroom was much better than expected - larger and better appointed. The breakfast was unhurried and there was plenty of tasty food on offer. I was particualrly amused by the way the man making eggs was positioned outside the restaurant! We were directed to a really nice Chinese restaurant about 200 metres away - very tasty food and good value. Parking was provided in a secure underground carpark almost underneath the hotel. Overall, a very nice place for an overnight stay.

Nothing really

The two things that matter most to us in a hotel is it needs to be clean and quiet. They got a perfect score on both of these. Lifts were fast, staff very helpful & friendly, and breakfast was good. It was just over a km to the historic area, so the location worked fine for us. Rooms are quite small and there are some stains here and there on the carpets but those are just picky things and the rooms, and the hotel in general, are overall very comfortable and we would stay here again.

The only negative we for us was the wifi didn’t work very well. And when we wanted to sign on with our kindle we had to get another code because only two people could sign on at once. My husband was finally able to download a book but I never managed it. Not a big deal at all but just be prepared with extra books if you love to read as we do!

Hotel was clean and fairly new. Room was also clean, a bit small but more than adequate for an overnight sleep. My 2nd time staying at the hotel, so I am a satisfied customer. Good value for money and if you would like to explore the old Ipoh town, the location is great

Roadside parking. Would prefer covered multi level or underground parking for safety reason. But it wasn't too bad and parking was always available when I was there

First time staying at the hotel, we enjoyed our stay there. Services were prompt and good, staff always put on their best smile and willing to assist whenever ask. Love the breakfast spread which changed daily, breakfast environment always tidy and clean. We took the hotel free shuttle from/to the airport and the arrangement was straight forward. Hotel location is convenient, with eateries all around and within short walking distance, just need to watch the two-way traffic when crossing the streets.

The staffs are very helpful, taking the initiative to look out for the information that was needed by us when we tried to find out a bus to go to KL. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Lots of variety! The room was quiet during the whole night of rest and lots of TV programs we could choose to watch. The mattress was comfy to enable us to sleep through the night comfortably! ( Firmness just enough; not too soft and not too hard).

Great location in the heart of Ipoh. Lots of food within the vicinity. Hotel has private carpark

1. The lift door closes too quickly. Especially for elderly people. 2. We arrived and pull up at the public car at the side of the hotel to check in. Within less than 5mins we were issued with a parking fine. I would suggest hotel reception let guests know during check in. Not really a good experience to start off the stay with a fine.

The friendly hotel staff is the main reason to return to this hotel, especially the hotel concierge driver, who drove us to the attraction place explaining the history and information. Overall, the hotel is clean, vibrant, and modern. To all MU staff, taking this opportunity to Thanks everyone for your great hospitality and smiles 😃
