The scenery and activities is pretty similar across the various guesthouses on the island, we saw turtles and rays when snorkeling near the beach. I will focus more on what makes Chak’z stand out instead. I really love the rooms. They are new, big and very spacious. There is enough space to lay out all our swimming and photography equipment. We got a room on the ground floor so there is direct access to the beach. I love to sit on the sofa near the glass window to look at the sea at times. The service staffs at Chak’z are also very kind, they really try their best to attend to all our requests. During our manta and snorkeling trips, Husham will always look out for us and make sure we are safe and well. We didn’t eat often at the in-house restaurant, but no matter what time we go, the guys will immediately greet us and get to work. The food always tasted great! Their breakfast is very simple, not a very fancy buffet with many dishes. But it was good for us because we love Maldivian tuna roshi. Chak’z Roshi is one of the softest that I have ever eaten. If you like varieties, there are many eateries around the island within 10 min’s walk. You can also get many things from the local supermarket. If we ever visit Dharavandhoo again, we will definitely stay at Chak’z again.

The wifi signal was weak in our room. We could only get connected to wifi if we stand next to the door. Thankful we purchased eSIM in advance so it wasn’t a big problem for us. Another thing is that the bed is a bit hard for us.

We were with a child and stayed in the hotel for a week. The hotel staff is wonderful, any issue is resolved very quickly. Husham Poky and his marine team is just a dream team! The manta safari was great and unforgettable! The hotel is beautifully located right on the beach. The beach is clean and very nice. The reef is very close and the snorkelling is very convenient - diverse sea life! We took full board and it was the right choice, all the meals were delicious and adapted. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will definitely come back !

The food is tasty but not varied

I would love to say HUGE thank you to Riyaz and Husham for our amazing holidays! You made impossible. After living for long time in Dubai we were sure we would never ever experience the same level of service anywhere in the world ( and we travel a lot) BUT not ! You guys exceeded all our expectations. Such a warm welcoming. All our 8 nights we were feeling like we came to visit our family. Thank you for Riyaz, before the flight I was asking hundreds of questions and he patiently and very fast answered all of them. Was very helpful. He arrange a transfer for us accordingly. All the excursions were organized for us very professionally. So kind person. Thank you Husham for giving a fun rides on golf car for our son! He loves it! Thank you for fishing and the best photos which we have now as a best memories. Hotel is super new. Same as photos. Super clean, just on the bikini beach. Thank you chief for asking what our kids love to eat for breakfast and cooking for them. Your pancakes and waffles were amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone who wants to feel home warm vibe in Paradise!

Everything is perfect

We had such an incredible stay!!! The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive and helpful all the time. We went manta snorkelling most of the time. The beach in front of the hotel is also great to jump and have a swim with the snorkel. Great bed and good breakfast (we even had Maldivian food!!!). We'll come back for sure! Thank you very much for everything ❤️

Everything 😊 Location was great! ! It’s right on the beach - 5 second walk 😊 Stuff was amazing. Super nice everyone! I can tell only good things about this hotel. It’s completely new. We had a sea view room with a balcony thanks to the owner that upgraded our room! It’s amazing to wake up and see the ocean 🌊 Has a private beach. Food in the restaurant is great! Breakfast is delicious. 😋 I felt like people care about us and accommodated everything we needed. AC worked great. Shower is big . EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! It’s super clean and smells good 😊 I am a world traveler and seen a lot and very picky. For the first time I had zero negative experience for 10 days! Totally recommend! Thank you for such good care of us. 🤗

Dharavandhoo Island is not overcrowded with tourists. The island has four restaurants and 2 ATMs. Payments can be made in dollars, euros, or the local currency, and some shops and restaurants also accept bank cards. When ordering food at the restaurant, expect a wait of 60 to 90 minutes for your order to be prepared. We arrived on the island with a local airline. The tickets were arranged at the hotel. There are enough loungers on the sandy beach. Just a few meters from the beach, you reach the edge of the coral reef, which feels like a busy tropical aquarium. The island is an excellent base for divers and excursions. The rooms are spacious, and the equipment is relatively new. The staff is very friendly. Special praise goes to the hotel manager Abdullah Riyaz, who was always available and willing to help. Despite some negative comments about the WiFi in particular reviews, it worked quickly and without interruptions in the room. The Maldivian food and fish were excellent (the preparation of European dishes could be improved).

I recommend booking rooms with a sea view. Two new buildings are being constructed behind the hotel, so the inland rooms have a noisy view of the construction site.

We had the most amazing vacation at this beautiful hotel. Hotel is small and perfect for quiet getaway, we got a room overlooking the beach and the sea. Room itself is very big, spacious and comfortable, bed is soft and comfy, bathroom is really large and spacious with enough toiletries for duration of the stay, towels are changed regularly and the room is cleaned daily! There is kettle for tea/coffee and small fridge which is very convenient! Beach is amazing, 5 steps away from hotel with enough beach chairs and beautiful view. Staff at the hotel is amazing, literally everyone is so polite, welcoming, smiling and going out of their way to make your stay memorable, from housekeeping, restaurant staff to managment. Special thanks to Poky for arranging beautiful excursions with manta rays and sea turtles. There are only few restaurants on the island and we tried food in all of them but we loved the food at the hotel restaurant the most and ate there most of the time. Pick up with the boat, flight tickets for domestic flight, everything was arranged by hotel staff. There were only 2 or 3 other couples with us in the hotel at the time so we enjoyed full privacy and had the whole beach for ourselves throughout our journey. But the most amazing part of this hotel is in-house coral reef right in front of beach! We were so mesmerized with the amount of beautiful exotic fish and sea life which can keep you occupied for hours and hours if you like snorkeling and exploring. Except thousands of different fish species we also encountered sting rays, sea turtles, sharks etc… on a daily basis. It’s more interesting than any national geographic documentary movie. So this place is absolutely perfect for relaxing holiday at exotic location, we would recommend it to anyone and would be the most happy to come back again! One week was not enough for our stay!

We liked everything!

Rooms clean, good size and good standard fittings and sea view to small sandy bay. Abdulla and his staff are all super friendly, and we enjoyed several of the resort trios offered by the hotel.

Breakfast could be improved and it is a shame that the hotel does not openly offer drinks service (non alcoholic) to guests on the beach, as a non all inclusive resort I would have thought that they would maximise the opportunity to provide additional chargeable services like drinks, food and even dinner on the beachfront? We ended up eating in the evening in the local “Krill” restaurant which was a life saver as it was excellent in terms of food/service and value!

Breakfast absolutely sufficient and always served by a smiling chef! :-))And wait until he serves you the fish, you will enjoy it!!! And Izzul also has Italian cuisine in his little finger, so that you simply won't want to go anywhere at all. Allow yourself to enjoy the art of this young and very skilled chef, you won't regret it!Thanks for everything, gentlemen, I appreciate your willingness and absolute helpfulness in all our wishes. It was a pleasure for us to enjoy wonderful days of relaxation and many thanks for the arrangement of transportation by boat to the island of Dharavandhoooooo:-))) so the plane ticket back.
